@HyperNeutrino and anyone else who wants it: Charcoal AutoComments can now be pulled from charcoal-se.org/userscripts/charcoal-autocomments/comments.js
user165474
Yay! Thanks.
@HyperNeutrino I think only CodeAdmins can run that
user165474
Ah.
user165474
No, I think all privileged users can.
user165474
Maybe? IDK
18:09
anyone
just don't do it unnecessarily
Seems a lil dangerous to me
shrug it's worked for two years
I guess in theory if something's been pushed to the master its gonna be ok sooo
user165474
Okay.
we tend to slap people who abuse privs, not that that's happened much
user165474
18:11
Ah. I see.
That's only going to encourage some people
user165474
I've kinda gotten the hang of how things work around here. I pissed off a few people in my first few days as a privs user because I was doing weird things but I get what to do here now.
the kind of people it'd encourage don't tend to show up around here
like I say, it's worked for two years, no reason it shouldn't keep working

Isn't that the second Guardian(s) of the Galaxy spam post in like 2 days?
@Karelzarath those people would find themselves without privs pretty quickly
@ArtOfCode we get to slap people? since when?!?!
@Mithrandir Some people do enjoy being slapped, though.
not this kind of slap
18:18
@Magisch @ArtOfCode I've read through the GitHub license discussion for data and have a couple questions: 1.) What's the end goal of this? 2.) What would be required to be released? I play with MS data frequently. I post pretty pictures or explanations if I find something interesting. What's the proposed license do for that? Wouldn't posting it on SE automatically make it CC By sa anyway? What about that data I don't post?

@angussidney I was asking more generally really
I've submitted 3 in the past 2 weeks, not really enough to make not having code privileges annoying
it's not like the world will explode if my patches aren't pulled immediately
or will it dun dun dun
@quartata then yeah, when someone with access thinks you're sane enough and have enough justification for them

!!/blacklist-keyword guardians?\Wof\Wthe\Wgalaxy
@quartata You don't have code privileges, but I've created a pull request for you.
I hope I did that right
what the heck
I think something might be wrong with MS search
I don't see a regex checkbox
Are you logged in to MS?
ah yes that would do it
18:41
Yes, noted....
I did a stupid with the search
@Ferrybig yes please don't remind me about that
nah it was always like that

Seems better
maybe not .*

@ThomasWard How exactly do you debug Smokey
Like what do you use to debug and how do you fake the API responses and all that
@SmokeDetector k
I suspect he runs it against live data, with a debugger inserted
Unfortunately live data for this comes up so rarely
That was a good answer to test though
This is classic Smokey
