You'd have to ask @Undo for a definitive call on that one. On Hardware Recs, I'd say NAA but not spam.

Spam, then
My gut feeling was right :)

Are we at the AA here?
Hi all, I'm Glorfindel and I haven't made a spam post since 6 months now.
@hichris123 Aw =p
totally going to infiltrate it now
Luckily we have delete buttons...

@SmokeDetector Can't tell if this is spam.
The app is free, which weighs against it being spam, but there is insufficient evidence here. I will presume innocent until proven guilty.

@bwDraco Don't bother.
@hichris123 why not?
Because this person will likely never do anything ever again. And if they will, they're probably not dumb enough to use the same username.
Only bots and people who want attention use similar/the same username.
oh yeah, he used the same account both times
you're right
We tend to use username blacklists for people who keep coming back under the same username, like wingding. Otherwise, it's more effective to catch the content somehow.

A: Winter Bash closing remarks - ideas for next year

bwDracoAs the Winter Bash leader on Super User with 32 hats, I have to say that Winter Bash was a lot of fun and I learned a lot during my participation. However, I have a few objections with respect to some of the hats. The Imitation Crab and Red Shirt hats led some users to cast meritless downvotes ...

They should have a hat for flagging spam this year

@ArtOfCode the problem is, that guy was posting NSFW imgur links disguised as documentation
I already had a similar idea two years ago:
so there was nothing that Smokey could catch
> raising at least ten helpful flags
What if we blacklisted a link whose text looked like a link but went somewhere else?
@NobodyNada I saw, but that doesn't make a username blacklist worth it
22:42
by that I mean a filter that would catch things like [documentation.com](spam.com)
@NobodyNada Hmmm. Possibly, but you'd want to take special cases into account, like [github.com](http://github.com)
Perhaps if we reported links that went to a different host entirely
Call it "misleading link target"?
right, maybe a filter for a different domain

@ArtOfCode Is there documentation anywhere for the JSON list of rules?
I can figure most of it out, but I'm not sure what body_summary does, and I don't want to get anything else wrong.
Does this look right:
{'method': misleading_link, 'all': True,
         'sites': [], 'reason': 'misleading link in {}', 'title': False, 'body': True, 'username': False, 'stripcodeblocks': True, 'body_summary': False, 'max_rep': 11, 'max_score': 1},
