FYI: AWS is offering 750 free hours/month of an EC2 t4g.small through 2023-12-31 to all new and existing AWS customers. You'll still need to pay for SSD storage, which is $0.64/mo for 8GB (more than enough for a single SD instance + swap), if you don't get that SSD space for free under a different offer (e.g. new AWS accounts).

SD can fit in a t4g.nano (with swap space enabled), but needs more than a t4g.nano's baseline CPU credits to be active full-time. I've moved my "EC2-Linux" standby SD instance, the MS Relay instance, and my testing instance over to a t4g.small, as it's cheaper (i.e. free) and more capable (both RAM and baseline CPU credits).

cc @CodyGray, as you were looking for compute resources not too long ago. The above t4g.small would be in addition to the 750 hours/month of an EC2 t2.micro instance (plus enough free SSD storage for both) which is given to new AWS accounts for the first 12 months. It's definitely not as good as the always-free offer from Oracle, but Oracle has never had available capacity when I've tried to provision an instance.
