@Mast You're welcome to submit a PR which does that. A PR is preferred in this sort of case, because it will preserve the information as to when the regex was first entered into the watchlist, which can be valuable when determining overall TP/FP. It also preserves the order in the list, which can impact other watches. While the order is probably not that important in this case, there are some entries which have specifically been re-ordered to prevent one regex from being shadowed by another.

@Mast You're welcome to work on improving it. 65% TP, is actually fairly good, particularly considering that it's also not detecting 99.999% of the total posts. Yes, it could be improved. We'd like to see it improved. The primary criteria in changing it would be to not loose detection of any TP posts for which we have no other detection.

@Makyen Is there a method to test that?

@tripleee We're talking 6043 TP here. I'd have to check which ones are only caught by this rule first and check all possible alternatives to the regex against it.
I can give it a shot, but it won't be finished before the weekend if that has to be done by hand.

The current regex is so overly complicated I can't possibly reverse engineer the results with my current regex-foo. There are simply characters in there that I can't explain and the difference between a TP and FP is too fuzzy for it.

@RyanM Matched by (?:mother)?f(?:\W*[au])+[ck]+(?<!fa[ck])(?:er|ed|ing?)?s? on line 9862 of watched_keywords.txt
Triggers on faac, the name of a codec.
It looks like there's an either/or construct going on that should've been an either.
Now 2 a's get counted in both parts.
