I have an idea about reversing the keywords list before joining them into one big regex. This would potentially reduce CPU load because newly added blacklist items tend to appear more often, so putting them in front of the big regex would make matching faster. I haven't tested this idea, but in theory it should do no harm at least.
To make it clearer, assume we have a\nb\nc as the blacklist file, instead of generating (?:a|b|c), it should produce (?:c|b|a) as the actual regex to use in testing posts.

CI on 68b0f5d failed.

@iBug There may be some improvement, but I would not expect it to be all that much.
@iBug I'd note that there has been some manipulation of the lists that have specifically adjusted the order of some entries, so that some older entries won't shadow newer ones. Reversing everything will, effectively, re-reverse the changes people made.

oh yeah, good to know

CI on 9dfe4db failed.

Wait, but does the reverse hold true? That A doesn't shadow B doesn't imply B shadows A. "Shadowing" is not a partially ordered relationship.

4:30 AM
It just implies union(x, y) != x and union(x, y) != y

@iBug It's going to depend on the regexes. Whichever one starts matching first, and succeeds, will get to consume the characters.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in body (1): Novatec QR D812SB max speed? by gamalan on bicycles.SE

@ThomasWard If all that the short domain does is to redirect, using Cloudflare and Page Rules appears to be a better option - you never have to worry about SSL certs again when you use CF. This would, of course, need to be considered by Undo, as the authoritative NS of the whole domain has to be switched over to CF. There are other tricks to achieve this without migrating NS, like using a CF Partner setup (used to be a huge exploit until like May 2019).

@user12986714 It was deleted by a moderator, but not as spam, just a normal delete. That wil still mark your spam flag as helpful, but won't apply any penalties and indications the moderator preferred to normal delete, but didn't feel it was obviously not spam (i.e. didn't decline your flag).
