@SmokeDetector A moderator undeleted the question, edited it, closed it, and disputed the flags. Overall, I think we should consider this FP, at least for now. Obviously, if we see additional posts linking to this domain, then we can reevaluate wrt. this being spam. I'm not going to watch the domain, because it's already detected by "Pattern-matching website in {}", and the other detections on this already pushed it over 3 detections. Adding a 4th detection isn't a good idea.

@Dharman Bad keyword in body - Position 497-510: online casino

@Dharman Because he posted super spammy content outside a content block. Easy to miss that it was meant to be code

Should it be tp or fp then?
I am not sure you are saying I missed something or it wasn't clear in the metasmoke

@Dharman It should be FP. Looking at the fixed code block it's obvious it's not spam

Hey, it never hurts to mention when you think we got something wrong. I'd feel bad spamming that poor guy out on a mistake. But still, never a good idea to post your nascent online casino code on SO. He was one vote away from Community

user435118
@Makyen when do you use force and when not?

@DaniilManokhin Smokey checks every time you add a blacklist. If it thinks it's already there (meaning it matches something already) you have to use -force to make it do the action anyways
In that case, we already watch for escorts. Have to force it to get the exact domain in there

user435118
7:18 PM
@Machavity oh ok, thanks

7:36 PM
@DaniilManokhin As mentioned, when you !!/watch or !!/blacklist-* something, SD will run the pattern (converted to an approximation of what you're trying to detect) through all the tests which posts are put through. If it finds a detection which matches what you're trying to add, it will report it and not actually add the pattern you've supplied. If it does match something, then you need to figure out why it's matching and determine if it's acceptable for what you're adding to be detected by more
than one detection and -force the addition, determine that it actually won't match more than one detection, or modify the pattern which you are adding so that more than one detection is not triggered by the text you are wanting to detect.
While it might appear that some people don't go through a process of determining that (e.g. because they change to -force quickly) it's also possible that they already knew that it would match the detections which were reported (e.g. they were looking to see if other detections matched), or they know from experience why it's matching those and/or that it's OK that it matches.
