@Anomitra (cc @Das_Geek) There is a short feedback command syntax which enables providing feedback with commands like sd f or sd tpu- (i.e. they begin with sd , not with an @SmokeDetector or reply). They can be convenient for giving feedback for recent reports. To give feedback to more than the most recent SD post it's necessary to account for everything which SD has posted in the room.
For things beyond the most recent thing SD has posted, people tend to misinterpret how the feedback will be applied (i.e. matching up their shortcut feedback command to SD messages). Thus, most of the time people use direct replies, the FIRE userscript, or other method of giving feedback.
@Makyen Yeah, I see Nathan Oliver using that a lot. I just didn't want to add too many options at once. Plus even then, you can only give feedback to the most recent reports in contiguous chunks

@SmokeDetector tpu- This answer author's avatar says "MTG" and "technical hub for tech-geeks". Their question, to which this is a self-answer, originally linked to a blog called MicrosoftTechGeek. The post it linked to promoted the CubexSoft tool that this answer is recommending and linking to. Its very unlikely that this Q&A was anything but an attempt to promote that software.
@Das_Geek Thanks. I'm not sure what, if anything, should be done now on the site itself. The question has been around for sometime and has accrued two other answers.
