[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in title (1): How to exclude HTML text from SEO by polarlighthouse on stackoverflow.com
fp- feedback received

fitness.se has 2.4 questions per day. Would it be useful to feed all of those questions into here, just in case?

Unless they're getting a lot of spam or bad questions, I don't think there's much of a reason to.

hmm... it is not really needed

I've just seen this: fitness.stackexchange.com/questions/40119/… which might be a poor attempt at spam, or at least something that I really could use a second brain to make sense of.

@JohnDvorak interesting; looks like spam seed

@double-beep Post 1: This does not look like spam

It looks to me like it's just an extremely poorly written question. Maybe R/A, but most likely just badly researched.

@double-beep Post 1: This does not look like spam

interesting; nothing looks like spam to SD

I can't make heads or tails of the answer either

5:28 PM
Yeah... I would downvote if I had the rep

VLQ flagged both

I'll do the same...

@JohnDvorak and the answer? hmm....
the answer can be expanded with an edit which I proposed, so I am against VLQ flags in it

Not bad, not bad... maybe I'll retract my flag if your edit is approved

I doubt if it will at all

5:34 PM
Seems like a good edit to me. Hopefully it'll be approved.

yeah... hopefully

no worries; just wanted to increase TPs from review :)

Which trolls do we know of?
> The name Sumer Kolcak (variously also exhibited with proper Turkish diacritics Sümer Kolçak) is known for trolling various Internet sites, even before Stack Overflow existed. Just try Google-ing him if you want background information, but don't read too much if you want to stay sane.

No, I don't have smokey privileges.

> Often puts a signature 'hash' like "ygh980ig3r5" under his posts, which has its own detection reason.

Oh... that makes sense.

5:52 PM
so, luncheon meat is to detect hashes like this

Okay. The name's a little misleading, but I can see why there would be a message for that.

@Makyen I think SD does use it enough that it shouldn't get deleted again - let's see how it goes, and we can ask for it to be added to GB if not

@Makyen waaaait... that's some weird kind of spam...

@EriktheOutgolfer Looks like spam to me: [ MS ]

7:35 PM
yeah, just said it's a weird kind
most sites don't have a rep limit for images AFAIK

@EriktheOutgolfer Using an image for their spam message is uncommon, but not really all that rare. Users can always upload the image and link to it. They just can't have it displayed inline with low rep.
