Hey @ThomasWard... do you know anything about setting up Python to run as a service on Windows?
Really just need something to run at bootup is all

@Undo Throw a shortcut to it in the Startup folder

2:52 PM
but that won't start it until you log in, right?

Sweet, that gives me something to look up. Does that write logs to anywhere?

correct
@Undo hit Win+R, type shell:startup to open Explorer straight to startup
it'll just run the program, so whatever the program does normally it will still do, including logging

no stdout, but that's okay
huh. Really want something that runs on startup, but that might be good enough

quick googling for properly running stuff at startup got me akadia.com/services/windows_registry.html but I have no idea if this is for Windows 95 Milleninum Platimum Cockroach Motel Edition or more general

@CalvT Are you going to do it, or do you want me to (i.e. I'd already determine the root issue by the time I'd seen someone else working on it)?

@Makyen Yeah I'd found the same issue - I've got a push ready, but can discard it if you'd prefer to do it?

@CalvT If you're at that point, go for it.

@Makyen All I've done is removed the padding in the SCSS file - imagine charcoal-se.org handles the conversion right?

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in body (1): Considering investing with HIIQ, any opinions? by rafraf41 on money.SE
[ userscripts ] continuous-integration/travis-ci/push success on d86be04: The Travis CI build passed

@CalvT The padding needs to remain on .fire-popup .fire-popup-body code, because it's desired when the <code> is not within a <pre>. However, it needs to be overridden within <pre><code> with an additional rule that applies padding: 0 to .fire-popup .fire-popup-body pre code. But, yes, the SCCS conversion is handled automagically.

@Makyen Ok - so if I change it to .fire-popup .fire-popup-body p > code that should do it right?
From a quick metasmoke search it seems that any code not in a pre is in a p
Probably doesn't need the > as it's very unlikely to find a pre inside a paragraph, but guess it can't hurt

4:05 PM
@CalvT I'm not really sure what you're asking, as several actual implementations could easily match what you're describing. But, no, don't change the entire code rule to only apply to p code, because we want the other things defined in it to be applied to all <code>, some of which are not duplicated in other rules. Just add a code { padding: 0; } prior to line 265 (i.e. inside pre{}).
Alternately, you could split the current code rule into two rules, one of which is for p code or p > code and the other for just code. Personally, I'd just go with adding code { padding: 0; } within the pre{}.

@double-beep You don't have code privileges, but I've created PR#2792 for you.

@double-beep The answer to this is a bit complex. In some cases, the fact that you've cast a spam flag is available through information that FIRE has (e.g. you cast the flag through MS). In other cases, only the fact that you've already flagged, but not that it was a spam/R/A flag, is available (e.g. you raised the flag from a question page, not through MS). While FIRE could get that information in all cases, I'm not permitted to add that code to FIRE (although, the code to do so already exists).

@double-beep I'm largely a proponent of rolling the version number for any change that gets released. However, it's not clear to me that changing the version of FIRE in fire.user.js should be done in this case. It largely depends on what's intended to be covered by the version number in fire.user.js. Ideally, there would be a version number indicating the release, which would be incremented with any change to the entire package.
In this case, where the .css file is downloaded from the net every time a page is loaded, it's probably more reasonable to have the .sccs file contain a version number, which would be adjusted for each change that ends up at the HEAD of the publicly accessible master branch.
So, that said, I'm not planning on rolling the version number contained in fire.user.js. If the SCCS-only change was something that affected usability a bit more, then I'd be more inclined to roll the fire.user.js version.
