teward/Anubis is switching to standby

It looks like Anubis has been a bit unstable. Has anyone noticed one way or the other?
Rebooting MS, just in case.

Restart: API quota is 11980.

@Makyen Seems that way. Doubled up on PRs and several git errors

[ SmokeDetector ] SmokeDetector started in standby mode at rev 20cf437 (SmokeDetector: Auto watch of ahansazan\.com by Shree) (running on iBug/SandyShores)

@tripleee Original user was destroyed but some of the posts still remain. Might need a mod flag

I did a mod flag already @Machavity
Tho I had to use MS links since I don't have the rep yet

@Das_Geek On the original posts too?

7:56 PM
The Raj issue is really one where we should custom mod-flag and let the moderators deal with it. In general, the content appears to answer the question (or am I missing some?). After the first couple/few they have included disclosure. One of the first ones was edited by a moderator, in response to a custom flag, IIRC.
Ah, yes, I recall more. The user posted two sets of 4 duplicate answers. These were cleaned up by a moderator. That is one of the major reasons we have so many hits, and that many of them are TP.

This one is from the first round. Round 2 might make mods reconsider keeping the content

@Machavity Not on the old users, no. Just the recent posts
But in the flag text I did link to the old users' posts that were recorded in MS

Well, I have a mod flag on it. Probably no need to dogpile

@Machavity Yes, it might, but they, and we, would need to evaluate what's currently there. That the user posted the two sets of duplicates is something that has been dealt with. Unless the user is doing that again, which it doesn't appear they are, then we really shouldn't hold that against them (at least not directly). In addition, they appear to have been willing to learn and modify their behavior. Other than what appears a bit over-aggressive promotion of their blog, the content appears good.
@Das_Geek IMO, this is a situation where we should be kicking it to the mods to allow them to deal with it, however they choose, which is what's been done, based on the statements above of raising mod-flags. While we can watch the domain, it is something we should handle with care. We shouldn't be putting a bunch of red-flags on them, unless the moderators decide that the current and future content should go.

@Makyen I didn't mod flag for the dupes, but the pattern of linking. They left the links after destroying the user. Not sure how/if they want to play that

@Machavity I'm not sure the user was destroyed. I thought I remembered that the user remained after what I thought of as the mods handling it.

@Makyen This user was destroyed
There's an MS report for it too. Was done by "Raj"

@Machavity Deleted, yes. Destroyed? Only a mod will be able to say.

@Makyen Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't entirely sure about watching, myself: that's why I had asked if the post pattern warranted it. I'll be more conservative with my watches in the future

asdasdasdasdasdasdasdasdasdasdasdasd

@connectyourcharger In this case there's a rule for people posting pure noise

Can't speak for others but that's why I personally tp'ed the above.

@connectyourcharger Basically, you should follow how you would flag it on-site. In general, for something like that, I view it as trolling, which I consider R/A. Our Feedback Guidance: Posts containing only garbage is basically applicable, IMO, even though it's not actually "oasuihdfoash".

@connectyourcharger If it was that the user was just confused (e.g. asking another question, or providing some incite/comment), I'd go with NAA, but this specific answer is really just noise. The user doesn't have any other contributions, so it looks to me like an account that was created to just troll that question.

okay, that makes sense

Yes, additional care should be taken on both Code Golf and Puzzling, where actual answers may have a strong resemblance to nonsensical text.
