I guess that depends on how you look at it. It could go either way, but I'd expect it to be written such that it did look at edits. After all, if someone is editing, then they want the new version of the message/command to be what's displayed/applied. I could certainly see not detecting edits not being in the first version of the code (it's probably more code), but I'd expect it to be added at some point.
@Machavity That pattern looks like it's already caught by Potentially bad keyword in body and Potentially bad keyword in answer; append -force if you really want to do that.
