@NogShine Another time, you might want to try !!/scan first, which will have SD run the post through it's detection routines and report it "normally" if anything is detected. Doing so will also result in autoflags being applied, if the post meets some user's criteria (definitely would have in this case with 5 reasons).

@DavidPostill In general, it's asked that you not provide feedback on posts which you !!/report. When the requirement was for only a single feedback per post, this was in place to prevent one person from declaring a post "TP", without the involvement of anyone else. Now that the requirement is that there are at least two feedbacks, I'm not sure if this request is still in place.

I don't mind it, especially for moderators on the site

@Makyen I'm reporting the post so that smokey has a record of it. Whether I report it or not it will be deleted and, if appropriate, the user will be nuked. So my workflow is to 1/ report it 2/ flag it as spam myself so it is removed from my site 3/ nuke the user.

@Makyen an additional 'problem' here is FDSC. As a moderator, I need to report an Ask Different post before casting a flag (otherwise Smokey can't get the post data via the API), and then when I cast a flag, feedback is automatically sent via FDSC. To avoid that, I'd need to open it in another tab or temporarily disable the script. Too much of a hassle :)

@DavidPostill I was mostly parroting what has been previously stated wrt. reporting and providing feedback. I probably shouldn't have. I did not intend to imply that anything you were doing with regards to moderating your site was inappropriate or should change. Providing SD with the report certainly helps with detecting future occurrences. It was just unclear to me if the general statement/request regarding feedback on reports one has reported had been changed, or was incompletely specified.

@Glorfindel Yes, I considered it most likely to be a tooling issue. The problem is much more prevalent on sites where the person is a moderator, but something similar exists for the workflow, at least in limited circumstances, for others as well. Frankly, if it's really something that's truly desired for the project, then it should be prevented on the MS side that the person reporting shouldn't have their feedback accepted, or just dropped.

7:18 PM
If you're a moderator on the site, or it's blatantly obvious spam, I'm not gonna mind if you TP your own report. If people start TP'ing their own reports of borderline stuff, that's when it gets to be an issue.

@Makyen I agree with your observation that we need two feedbacks now largely making this 'rule' of not providing feedback on a post you've reported obsolete.
Well, that's not precisely how you worded it, but it's my derivation of it.
If it continues this way, I'd have to suspend Smokey for inappropriate language :P

I was going to write an unwatch command

@bro I asked earlier, but nobody responded if there was a preferred method. Then, we kept needing to have manually reported matching posts. I'm happy to do it however is most appropriate.

Took a look, realised I did a smart and added a remove method to the blacklist classes so it's easy to remove stuff... but then it needs to go through git and gitmanager and that's just ew

@Glorfindel Having people think about how strongly it was desired at this point was intended / an expected consequence. However, I was intending to not bias how people were thinking.
