The irony of the stickers email ending up in my spam folder will be sweet

@ArtOfCode Maybe I'm dense/blind, but I don't see a PayPal link

I... definitely meant to do that
I'll drop it in chat once I've sent the lot out
Probably a BCC'd email to everyone as well, I'm not sending another 30 individual emails :)

Ok, thanks

I'm awaiting the paypal link now, :)

Also the email didn't end up in my spam box, so you've got that going for you

PayPal link is paypal.me/artofcode - make sure you pick GBP!

@Mego being personalised and grammatically correct generally helps with that
pretty sure we've built up some good email juju for the charcoal-se.org domain anyway
...tempting to make [email-juju] a room tag, but we have got quite a lot

@ArtOfCode There aren't enough room tags until it won't let you add more. Then it's a reason to complain on Mother Meta.

@angussidney Here's a network-wide query for all users named Donald Trump or a variant. There's 38 of them, most haven't posted anything

Money is on its way. If you need any more for the Great Sticker Project, ping me and I'll toss you some extra.

fancy schmancy invoices
@quartata For metasmoke, I generally don't like making local changes not reflected in Git. I know it's not auditable, but having the real code running being open source makes me feel better about taking people's tokens

@Mego PayPal sent me a thing with the subject quite literally "you have money" :)

> It’s cheaper to send money to friends using bank or balance.
but conveniently no link to add such a method

done
Apparently an "eCheque" means it clears when the ACH transfer to PayPal clears.

My bank is usually pretty good about clearing those fast.

11:37 PM
@Undo Aye, I kinda assumed 3-5 was a conservative estimate

US banking is weird
like... there's apparently absolutely no way for PayPal or Coinbase to get money out of an account fast
Probably makes it harder to launder money

Oookay... Someone just paid me, but I have literally zero idea who it is :D Would the unknown beneficiary please send me an email from the email address attached to your PayPal account, containing your SE username, so I know who I can mark off?
@Undo ATM?

@ArtOfCode Those work, but PayPal doesn't take cash
... I think

heh
nah, you feed it into the DVD drive

Dang, and it was so obvious

@ArtOfCode This might be easier if you create a couple/few PayPal Buttons so everything is filled in with just a single click. That way you get all address info, etc., with the payment. You might have to adjust the amounts up a bit to account for fees, as I believe PayPal Buttons are intended for commercial transactions where the recipient is responsible for transaction fees, but not currency conversion. You can specify shipping by destination.

@Makyen Nah - good to know that those exist, but for this run I've already got all the info I need and using the .me link is the cheapest possible method.

11:59 PM
@ArtOfCode t'was me

@WELZ All marked off, cheers :)
