I hadn't checked my invalidated feedback for a while, did someone with 10k on SO mind telling me how this was deleted it looked like spam to me: stackoverflow.com/a/52354137
@SurajRao Thx - didn't think to check my flag history but it was marked helpful and deleted at -4. I guess it was just invalidated here because of two NAA versus one TP.
@Shree That pattern looks like it's already caught by Potentially problematic ns configuration in answer and Potentially problematic ns configuration in body; append -force if you really want to do that.

I came across this question just now and want to get some feedback on following question that arose while reading the article/question:
Is it already some sort of advertisment when the OP states in the first sentence:

@Glorfindel I'd suggest we watch it for a while first. There's one FP, which indicates there might be more FP which the biased data in MS doesn't show.
@Glorfindel Then, were you really meaning ... as part of your regex? I assumed it was a placeholder for other, yet to be determined, companies (i.e. that your regex was incomplete and that the watch would help obtain the data needed to complete it).
@Glorfindel That looks like about where it should be added. I agree that it looks like it should be added, I'd just like a bit more data prior to someone doing so (my Python skills are, at best, minimal, so it'd probably be someone else that does it).
I would prefer to watch the less precise regex for a while first to collect more data to see what else should be included and excluded. For instance, Epson accounts for the significant majority of TP (18 of the 25), but 2 of those would not be caught with the regex that's been proposed so far.
There are 4 others of those 25 that would not be caught with the currently proposed regex. So, of those TP that are in MS, 24% would not be caught with the current regex. There may also be other TP or FP which would be caught. Let's get more data.
If something does get added to the bad keyword in link detection, the following watch needs to be modified to avoid those detections, so we're not double-dipping wrt. detecting the same thing with two different reasons:
If you think you should be in there, you're probably right. Ping me.
- I moved everything else important off; it should only affect MS, Redunda, and Sentinel. So play with it all you want if you're not afraid of SOBotics' wrath.
- If you use it when the server is really unhappy, it probably won't work immediately. Give it five minutes; the reboot should turn into a force reboot after four minutes.
@Undo About how long does it take to reboot from the time it actually starts doing so (i.e. ignoring the potential 4 minute wait)? Basically, prior to MS going down I've often experienced symptoms that probably indicate MS is beginning to have issues, but those aren't 100% accurate. Knowing the expected downtime would help me gauge what level of certainty that MS is really having problems I'd want prior to proactively rebooting (i.e. I don't want to inconvenience people too much).
@Makyen sure, thanks for doing it this way. I didn't look at it in so much detail yet, but I wouldn't want to forget about a pattern which has the potential to get quite a few posts above autoflagging threshold.
@Undo That's a good point. I'll try to remember to do a more thorough test the next time, just to have the number. :-) But, I don't think refining the number is worth repeatedly rebooting MS (at least not in the middle of the day :-) ).
A time machine, you say? Well how convenient. I just so happen to have found one of those lying around this morning... and a sea unicorn, whose friend is missing somewhere in the depths of time! Sounds like a rescue mission is in order...
In he goes. It's not going to be an easy mission.

@ArtOfCode Perhaps, but then both where active at the same time, and Charcoal SE Test's profile I'm a test user for testing Metasmoke on a local devbox which we know sau226 is doing
