@Makyen alive, yes. hurting, yes. (landed on my tail bone)
of more concern is the level of rage that's built up from all this being a bad start of the day

I'm very sorry
hope you get well soon, only then comes the computer

@ThomasWard Ouch. At least there isn't any permanent physical damage to yourself, I hope (broken tail bones can be hard to detect without a trip to the doctor). I'm glad to hear that you're at least ambulatory and able to move-on with your day. The rage is understandable, but something you'll have to work through. There won't be much productive that can come from it. That doesn't mean you have to drop the issue, just the rage.
If it's really something where the landlord failed in some way, then you might be able to file a lawsuit. There are probably personal injury lawyers who would be willing to take the case, particularly if there's documented medical issues.

@Makyen the damage to the laptop as a result of the fall is the result of their negligence - that's a civil suit right there. not to mention it's not helping my current state of mind which affects work, so a day's worth of work is technically arguable too. The rage and wrath will remain until i get a good night's rest, it's why I'm not super active today here.

@Makyen you can see there's no feedback there after I killed it with fire :P
it was a test

@EriktheOutgolfer Yeah, I was looking at AIM's info. I've planned on improving AIM's tracking of feedback, including removing feedback when it gets removed, but haven't gotten to it yet. OTOH, if you had replaced the feedback, instead of clearing it, then AIM should overwrite what it has for your feedback.
@ThomasWard Bringing it to the attention of your doctor at that time sounds like a good idea.

6:38 PM
@Makyen sorry, I can't replace it with something I haven't thought of yet :P

@EriktheOutgolfer Why not? :-)

@SmokeDetector naa on a question test?

@EriktheOutgolfer That report was a question; questions cannot be marked as NAAs.

@Makyen heh, I might start putting random stuff instead of thinking in the future :P

@ThomasWard Yeah, you could probably sue them. The value of the computer is small claims in most jurisdictions. Just keep in mind that it's not unlikely that suing your landlord will make the relationship significantly worse, and may end up resulting in you needing to find somewhere else to live. However, it is possible to sue without having that happen, depends on the people/situation.
