Anyways, this should make it so that it'll try to read the credentials from the store and if any it needs are missing it'll prompt for them (with getpass).
That way you can choose what you want to store on disk.
You can force it to require the optional credentials with a command line flag
@quartata Not to discourage you, but just so you're aware: Smokey's had 3-4 years of reliability tuning. A newer version with all the annoyances of the existing thing fixed would be awesome, but it's going to need a lot of work to make sure it's up to the same standard before it's production-ready. Expect a timescale of months at least.
@quartata A thought: You might consider keeping findspam largely intact, at least at first. I know it's a pain point, but touching it means an order of magnitude more scrutiny since that's what feeds autoflagging
It would make sense if I at least did a reference implementation for it, since I'm already familiar with both the queue timings bits and the data manipulation to get the mod factors you need.

Puzzling has been seeing quite a bit of sports-related spam recently - ads for football matches, wrestling, and so on - not all of which Smokey has been catching. Might want to blacklist a few websites there.
@JasonC Can you not search for Puzzling posts in Smokey history? I think most of the ones it didn't catch automatically have been manually reported, either by me or Mithrandir.

You could use it to download all spam/offensive posts for PPCG (Quartata) and (Soft|Hard)ware Recommendations and Space Exploration (Undo), but those sites don't see much spam anyway.
