@Ben Compared to who?
Because like it or not, VP of sales is almost guaranteed to get an upgrade before me.

Well, good night and best of luck to your laptop.

@BESW The new players aren't really expected (in my experience) to have mastery of even the game rules, never mind the league's rules. So they're brought along by hand, learning only what they need to as they play, getting things explained in side-conversations, &c. I guess "great" is a relative term--it's a great way to learn D&D compared to learning it from the books!

Ben
@Someone_Evil Ty haha sleep well
@Yuuki Thankfully, we don't have a VP of sales (technically)

That might be better off in TBR actually.

@Miniman in regards to the whole watching a speedrun thing, turns out Star Control 2 was very unsatisfying for that, everything I found was tool assisted stuff which was basically all to cheat and do things even veteran players couldn't possibly do without finding the in game tech to do it
And then viciously skipping even some things that are supposed to be necessary to win

Ben

I think it's because it's both an old game and something you probably wouldn't be looking for videos of if you were not already one of those people who put up with all the game is enough to beat it
Like, there are two places you have to go to get the sort of equivalent of fast travel in the game, one is a portal that only opens at particular times in particular place
One is a crashed ship you need a certain tech to get to
