It is my humble opinion that Salamandastron has too damn many plotlines
There's the besieged Salamandastron, the besiegers, the rapidly sickening Redwall Abbey, Mara and Pikkle, Samkin and Arula, and then occasionally an extra vermin point of view
Makes it hard to invest too much in any character, seeing as you lose 'em for chapters at a time

@bobble I'm not sure if should be used for every question about titles ... (although not sure it shouldn't either, just going to put some thoughts out here)
The tag wiki excerpt says "For questions about the literary meaning or purpose behind the title of a book", but Why are some people dissatisfied with the titling of “The Red Wheelbarrow”? is more about than the title's meaning, and Why is the title of “Le Morte d'Arthur” in French if the book is in English? is about a choice of language rather than the meaning of the title itself.

@Alex Or a science-fiction question.
@Randal'Thor The choice of language might be seen as an aspect of "purpose behind the title" in the case of Le Morte d'Arthur. But I agree that questions about reception in general don't need the tag.

@Tsundoku Reminds me of the time I was trying to figure out the most possible sites that a question could be on topic on.

@Alex It's an unfamiliar term for a familiar object, that's what likely is peaking interest
@Bookworm You'll al be please to know I've been composing iambic dimeter poems in my head since yesterday thanks to you lot :p

@AncientSwordRage We went HNQ with that too.
@Bookworm This question was originally asked on ELU, where it's gone HNQ, but the OP re-asked it here. I think it's actually off-topic for ELU (where it has two close votes currently) and fits our site better, but I'm not sure what to do about the cross-post. I flagged for ELU mods to be aware too.

@Randal'Thor nice

@AncientSwordRage s/peaking/piquing/
@Tsundoku I think it's an odd argument to say that a question specifically about the title of a poem (or other work) should not have the tag . Especially since the reception here is the reception of the title.

@verbose Odd strawman.
When religion was added to Britain's census in 2001, 400,000 people identified as “Jedi”: "Britain’s census form reveals the obsessions of different eras"

1:22 PM
@verbose Do you think the interest could reach a higher peak?
People interest may have been piqued, but I feel like HNQ just shows that interest had peaked :p

@verbose The tag wiki excerpt says is for questions about the "literary meaning or purpose behind the title", which asking about the reception of the title isn't really. But maybe it'd be better to change the wiki excerpt rather than remove the tag from those questions - I'm not sure.
The tag name isn't , after all.
