Personally, I would consider the tag elementary-set-theory fine for the question on Mathematics. But on MathOverflow, such tag does not exist.

I wish I had something to say although about the actual mathematical problem. Still, you have asked about the tags for that question - I tried to reply at least to that. (And maybe somebody else might notice the question here and add some further comments.)

@MartinSleziak @a.gharbi I've added co.combinatorics which is broad. Possibly some further tag could be useful, in the computational side (computer-science being quite unfocussed); I also thought of op.optimization-and-control. I guess "combinatorics of maps between finite sets" is considered quite disjoint to current research called "set theory".
