I called the insurance to get my car towed yesterday at 9am

they didnt do it until 2:30

so the people at the shop didnt get to do their assessment yet

but when i was signing the papers and stuff they said it didn't look THAT bad

so im hoping that means it wont take too long to fix, aka i will have my car back on monday

Also super gross but my roommates puppy(female) is current in heat

and she period bled all over his bed

so there is a bus at 7:00am 30 minutes walk away from my house that takes me directly to work

or take a bus near my house with 3 transfers and 10 minutes walking

the 3 transfer route also takes an additional 30 minutes

tough choice

the 7:00am bus will require me to wake up 1.5hours earlier than i normally do to make it

i got a free salad card today

so i super loaded that bitch up

normally when i get a salad, i prioritize the lighter stuff

today i got all the heaviest things i normally want to eat but dont add

like the cherry tomatoes

extra chicken

roasted mushrooms

and roasted squash

lol my salad has become more a tray of roasted veggies and chicken with a sprinkle of greens

Get a large portobello or field mushroom, take the stalk off, slather it in garlic butter. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes.

Get a big crusty roll, use it to mop up the juices, then slather it with dijon mustard. Whack the mushroom in there and eat

It's like a steak sandwich but cheaper and (arguably) healthier

@PrestonFitzgerald its pretty common for orange, sesame, and general tso's to have the same base sauce with slight variances

orange chicken is general tso's chicken with dried orange peels added into the sauce

and sesame chicken isnt spicy with sesame and slightly less sweet

but as you say it varies from restaurant to restaurant

but from personal experience i know that many chinese restaurants use the same sauce for sesame chicken and general tso's chicken.

i recently watched a very interesting TED talk about the Macrocosm of chinese restaurants
