wonders whether date pickers have the same look and feel as cherry pickers
I suspect that if they do, you’ve just outed yourself as a gynesexual.

The look and feel is that of a nose picker.

@RegDwigнt That sounds otorhinolaryngological to me.

> Html is another important thing for a web developer. I am also aweb developer. so This post is very important for me.
That's nice, honey.

I am alsoon the internet reading things. I am also writing things rightnow.

Why is it that most coöccurrences of web developer are oxymoronic?

2:03 PM
Because they tried being oxyribonucleistic, but ended being moronic.

I wonder if it's in the form of a syllogism because he thinks he's making a logical deduction.
He did distribute the middle term, you'll note.

I gave up on wondering. There is no payoff. No payoff.

Lent is overdue.

I also wonder if that person has any unspoken thoughts. Or proto-thoughts.

Are there uncommon vernaculars?

Q: Do as verb and other travesties

maxwellIn common vernacular, an electrician or plumber might say something like "I'll do the plumbing for free". I know it's not exactly proper English but what exactly is going on (In a technical sense) with the construction of this sentence?

2:05 PM
Wheel is another important thing for a car.

Maybe it’s tranny-talk.

I've been waiting to link to that question as soon as anybody uses do as a verb, but truth be told for hours nobody has.
So perhaps the OP is right?
HarHarHar.

Fixed. Just in time.

Hey it's okay. You're is an instance of is-support, which is even more important than do-support.

(removed)

2:07 PM
Why collocate with ?

Because you just type the only one word that you know has somehow to do with something about language, and then click on all tag suggestions that come up.

The proverbial do.

doesn't collocate well with others

@RegDwigнt Nothing is more important than do support.

@Robusto Terri Schiavo disagreed.

2:09 PM
— when rules kill.
@RegDwigнt And look what happened to her.

@Robusto yeah, because everyone disagreed with her disagreeing.

Let that be a listen to you.

I have enough glistens.

Glisters and blisters and pilasters made of plaster

Maybe get a glister on your little ELU, maybe get a plaster on your ELL.

I need a SEDE query that lists not-protected questions sorted by viewcount.

I need upskirt photos of non-protected questions. For research, of course.

Wear patent leather shoes.

But the questions are all protected by modesty panels.
I guess if you use clear plexiglass you could have immodesty panels.

Found it.

Q: Why stackexchange.com promotes sexual perversion?

begueradjI was interested to read this blog. Everything was right, but further in the bottom of the page, I saw a shocking image that I feel shame to describe. Look to where the camera focuses on that picture.Where is the interest for stackexchange.com to promote perversion and pornography ?

little bit of light relief
apparently Rollerderby women are perverse

@MattЭллен Ooooh, pornography. Must add blog to favorites.

@random they can take the picture from the back instead — begueradj 28 mins ago

it makes so little sense :D I bet he'd not think twice were it a man

Numidia (202 BC – 46 BC) was an Ancient Libyan kingdom in what is now Algeria and a smaller part of western Tunisia, in North Africa. Numidia was originally divided between Massylii in the east and Masaesyli in the west. During the Second Punic War (218-201 BC), Massinissa, king of the Massylii, defeated Syphax of the Masaesyli to unify Numidia into one kingdom. The kingdom began as a sovereign state and later alternated between being a Roman province and being a Roman client state. It was bordered by the kingdoms of Mauretania (modern-day Morocco) to the west, the Roman province of Africa (modern...

@RegDwight please don't reveal personally identifiable information in public. — nhinkle ♦ 6 mins ago
Country of origin is personally identifiable?
Maybe for countries with only one internet user

2:42 PM
I suppose it's more than was known before

Don't take the chance @RegDwigнt of getting suspended trying to chase a troll away.

I guess it's "private" information, in that SE doesn't force us to disclose it.
But it's certainly not "Personally Identifiable"

it does identify your nationality

No, it doesn't
what does that mean, anyway?

or whatever that means :)

2:45 PM
"nationality"
It identifies the possibly-true country where you are posting from, assuming you haven't fooled the system somehow.

your citizenship?

You don't need citizenship to be in any particular country
Especially not EU countries

I'm just guessing...
...don't take me too seriously

I mean, any random person on SE right now is in a country. if knowing that country would let me identify that person, all that means is that I have to try 200-odd guesses if I really want to find them.

My point is this:

In Greek mythology, Phaedra (Ancient Greek: Φαίδρα - Phaidra) is the daughter of Minos and Pasiphaë, wife of Theseus, sister of Ariadne, and the mother of Demophon of Athens and Acamas. Phaedra's name derives from the Greek word φαιδρός (phaidros), which meant "bright". Though married to Theseus, Phaedra fell in love with Hippolytus, Theseus' son born by either Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, or Antiope, her sister. Euripides placed this story twice on the Athenian stage, of which one version survives. According to some sources, Hippolytus had spurned Aphrodite to remain a steadfast and virginal...
Phaedra (1974) is an album by the German electronic music group Tangerine Dream. This is the first Tangerine Dream album to feature their now classic sequencer-driven sound, which launched the Berlin School genre. This album marked the beginning of the group's international success and was their first album released on the British Virgin records label. It achieved six-figure sales in the UK, reaching No 15 in the charts in a 15-week run, with virtually no airplay, only by strong word of mouth. It also earned the group a gold disc in seven countries, and yet in their native Germany it sold barely...

@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 You have seen the map, I presume?
@tchrist Phaedrus.

@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 EZ.com, EZ.go

The Phaedrus (/ˈfiːdrəs/; Greek: Φαῖδρος), written by Plato, is a dialogue between Plato's main protagonist, Socrates, and Phaedrus, an interlocutor in several dialogues. The Phaedrus was presumably composed around 370 BC, around the same time as Plato's Republic and Symposium. Although ostensibly about the topic of love, the discussion in the dialogue revolves around the art of rhetoric and how it should be practiced, and dwells on subjects as diverse as metempsychosis (the Greek tradition of reincarnation) and erotic love. == Setting == Socrates runs into Phaedrus on the outskirts of Athens....

Q: Will probably takes vs probably will takes

user3919509Similar to this question asked: "Should probably be" vs. "should be probably" Does it go: "It will probably takes 2 hours"? OR "It probably will takes 2 hours"?

There may be no stupid questions, but there sure are a lot of stupid askers.

6:11 PM
What is the origin of 'there are no stupid questions'?

How can someone have 2 different location see this guy.

I've learned several new languages in my life… or at least started to. and in my experience, the first think you learn is basic conjugation.
why is it that so many people learning English fail at conjugation when it's by a long shot the easiest conjugation in any language?

I dunno what conjugation is, pretty sure I fail at it.

one person has an 's' at the end and the rest are the literal same word. for most verbs!
I think there may be some people in the world who aren't very bright.

what do you base that on?

the whole simple conjugation problem I was just fussing about.
also, some people get Cs in school.

my problem with this guy is he didn't search before posting a question.
you gotta search first.

In this particular instance, I would like for the community to close vote it, not just a mod, because I want him to see that it is a communal consensus that this is a dupe.
@nosmoking I am not Robin Williams.

I wish I could close vote
who the hell is Robin Williams? why has everyone been talking about this guy
I googled him and still have no idea.
he looks like an average guy

he's almost the homonym of a stupid smoking singer

Instead we get communal consensus that asking dumb questions with no research that are dupes of dozens of other questions is something worth upvoting.
It makes me angry.

I think it's less of a problem than people posting dictionary pastes that get upvoted.
which happens much much more.

6:50 PM
@tchrist qu'on s'en suce communal?
