8:00 PM
There are no more cakes like once.

or do you mean a brand name?

oh! right you are then

Carry moonbeams home in a jar…

hahhaha, laser tag called LAZERTAG

8:01 PM
LAZERTAG Multiplayer Battle System. Laser Tag Multiplayer Battle System. Tag or be tagged in this intense, real-life lazer combat game

Imagine, the company is Hasbro; they could have called themselves Hassis.

They probably don't though.
Have a sis, I mean.

@Kitḫ inconsistency is the spice of life

That right? I thought it was vagary.

@Kitḫ maybe who knows?

8:03 PM
Wait, no. That's the Old Spice of life.

sighs

(OK, one more silly thing I say, and I reach my average.)

spanks @Kit's shoulder

Maybe I should wake up my husband and fool around before we get the kids.

8:04 PM
yeah!

@Kitḫ Is that something you really want to crowdsource?

Seems like a lot of effort though.

not if he comes to you!

@simchona I'm not sure I understand "crowdsource."

Aren't there static fools?

8:06 PM
@Kitḫ Send out to a chat room for opinions. Especially in a room full of guys.

@MattЭллен He's not well and was sedated earlier today. I am thinking I would be the one doing the work in this instance.

@Kitḫ ah, then maybe not

@simchona Is there a room full of guys?

@simchona Meh. They're just as likely to recommend playing Skyrim.

@kiamlaluno all chat rooms are a room full of guys unless proved otherwise ;-)

8:07 PM
We all know that I'm actually a guy.

indeed

@MattЭллен That sounds like 1970-ish.
We all know that I am… never mind, I have never said I am.

@kiamlaluno oh no, not in a sexist girls are not capable way, but in a "geeks are never female" way that was the truth most of the time up until recently

@MattЭллен The stereotype, not the truth.

so a gross generalisation, but not in a demeaning way

8:09 PM
Hatshepsut was a total geek.

@MattЭллен That is exactly what I think 1970-ish. :-)

@Kitḫ you say stereotype I say truth! lets call the whole thing off

And let's not forget Athena, geek goddess of yore.
@MattЭллен high five

@Kitḫ That sounds like a native American's name.

@Kitḫ high five

8:10 PM
@kiamlaluno Egyptian pharaoh.
:For other Egyptian ladies called Maatkare see Maatkare Hatshepsut (; also Hatchepsut; meaning Foremost of Noble Ladies; 1508–1458 BC) was the fifth pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty of Ancient Egypt. She is generally regarded by Egyptologists as one of the most successful pharaohs, reigning longer than any other woman of an indigenous Egyptian dynasty. Although contemporary records of her reign are documented in diverse ancient sources, Hatshepsut was described by early modern scholars as only having served as a co-regent from about years 7 to 21 of the reign previously identifie...

@Kitḫ Oh! Is then a he?

No, a she.
Came up with the idea of "trade."

Right, or the name would be Hathepsut.

She was a really awesome ruler, and under her reign, made Egypt very wealthy.
But anyway, geeky women have been around for a long time.

but luckily men have been here to keep you under control and make it look like we have all the smarts

8:17 PM
Right.
looks @Matt archly

I mean, if it wasn't for needing to look after us, think what you might have accomplished!

(Now that I cannot get anymore reputation on MSO, I can hide myself in my rooms.)

Hmm. Indeed.
OMG. I totally forgot to shower. That's what I will do next.

good luck!

Later, peeps!

8:20 PM
cya @Kit

(OK, now I have definitively used all my reputation on MSO.)
Poofs.

8:44 PM
worth it for the Batman rant alone

Halfway through I kind of wanted some cupcake frosting, but then not by the end
I was simultaneously looking up this list of Batman exclamations - kind of a spooky coincidence. I wanted to know if thwack was in there. It appears to be...
> thwack bonk whamm kapow bam splatt ooooff
for example

ace! :D

9:06 PM
Okay, I have things I should be doing besides wondering whether te aporreo! or te aporrearé! feels more like exclaiming thwack! ...must...stop...reading...diccionarios...

Important things must be done! but you can put it off a little longer...

@Cerberus: Quidquid latine dictum, altum videtur.

Jez
9:25 PM
geez, grandma is depressing me no end
"family's all well and good, but they have their own life, don't they?"
"nothing like a partner"
fucking HELL.

@jez my grandma just tries to make me eat all the time.
Nothing like a breakfast with 22 times of being asked "are you sure there's nothing I can make for you? It'll just take a minute"

Jez

Jez
9:40 PM

Jez
anyone on Google+?
i've recently decided i like it
im adding ppl to circles :-)

I've not tried it

Jez
you should it's good. like facebook, but without the ad-strewn interface and without having to have everyone's relationship info on your main stream (you can change the amount of stuff from circles that gets onto your main stream)

9:50 PM
I'd have to get my friends to use it. That'd be fighting a losing battle from the off

Jez
pfft
getting rid of Facebook is a fight worth fighting :-)

Ach, but I'm lazy

Jez
well all i know is i only joined Facebook for Tetris Friends

Jez

Jez
fine by me. my +1's reflect what i like
if people dont like it they can shove it ;-)

I don't want my name splattered everywhere, just because I've done something with G+. If my friends start using it I'll probably move, but until then I'm happy being annoyed with FaceBook

Jez
i disapprove.

10:04 PM
thank you and good night!
