@Hakase Actually I'm just working with Java in the last time and only a little bit PHP and HTML. Right now I'm working in a company and make some programs for the production (this company produces rims). And in my freetime I watch anime/read manga, play tabletennis and I'm programming some smaller Applications for fun and to gain more knowledge, some Mods (mostly for MC-Servers of friends) and right now a bigger OpenGL-based 3D Game ^^

Before that just some little 2D Jump'n'Run Games and Apps but this bigger project consumes al my time. Also I'm still a student and so I have to do something for school too ^^

here i don't see people using java , they use c# for desktop application and PHP and c# for web application and website

@JetStream application mean what type of, as PHP , c# are use to build website , is java used for those also , as i know before smart phone Java was used to buil .jar file for mobile

But Java is also very slow, I don't know how fast/slow C# works but when processing bigger Data like I'm doing it right now one can feel the slowness of Java ^^

But which one to chose depends on what you want to do
