@cfr people have sent me stuff before, it can be useful. I don't accept general question MWE by mail (people trying to send a zip of entire thesis...) but if it looks like being a problem in one of my own packages and hard to reproduce if they send something offline it's easier to work out what the ssue is then just come back on site with a pointer to a patch or user error or whatever

Thinking about it, may be I can't edit only one character of a question/answer, may be it's only of my posts. In case one is granted that, I suspect that it would be global (i.e., in the reviews, in all the answers, in all the questions, etc.).

Is a \multirow always centered vertically in the cell?

@AndrewCashner Don't know, never used it. Using package booktabs makes multirow kinda obsolete.

@AndrewCashner it depends. Also if you are doing it all the time better just to change the space around midrule (booktabs has a parameter for that)
