@jaberg Just wanted to tell you that my earbuds have now lost the sound in the right earbud. Not very happy, as I treated them better than my Apple earbuds...but I have to say, I love their warranty claims and am still happy with my purchase even if they aren't working right now.
I am a bit annoyed that they are not working, but I'm getting a new pair shipped now, so that makes up for it all
Background
I have a podcast subscription on my Mac. For example, Marketplace. It's a daily podcast, and I often get them by downloading them to the Mac (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) with iTunes (currently 10.6.1 but has happened for a long time) and syncing to my iPhone. However, sometimes I forget, ...
@stuffe heh heh - it sure seems that way some time.
On balance, my smiles per mile and attitude both at work and after are so much better when I commute on less wheels.
New Topic: Has anyone had the iTunes music store be responsive to them in the last 20 hours or so?
On iTunes on a computer it works as expected, but on iOS, I can't do much but search for a track and preview the top hit. Once I go into an album view - it stalls for minutes and then crashes the app...
I'm wondering if it's somehow my account or an iOS store wide issue. It doesn't matter if I'm on an iPad or iPhone, WiFi or 3G/4G/LTE - they all are stalling the app (you can't scroll, tap, it just spins the indeterminate progress round chicklet icon and never recovers)
Those bikes that crest a rise, catch air, land rear wheel first and then do the wobble give me the cringes the most. (and the bodies flying through the air like a rag doll just make me shut my eyes)
I'll stick to 4 wheels for going fast. I bought my bike as my 2 seater open top car replacement. Then I got another 2 seater open top! I'm the worlds most careful biker
@stuffe Pix of the 2 seater? Some day, I'll have one and a nice garage in the west to ride through the mountains / high desert in all manner of old motor vehicles :-)
Yeah, had one back in 2001 or so, loved it to death (literall death, engine failure), and when it had to go back I bought an awful ford banger and a motorbike instead
@stuffe Oh man - tweet a link to the manufacturer please. I NEED TO GET ON ONE OF THOSE. I know some sweet roads out west that demand a visit from wheels like that.
Then, through a weird set of circumstances I came into enough money for another in 2007, and so bough the exact same model which was 10 years old or so by then, so affordable.
It's an original model 1 Lotus Elise.
This would be the current model, but it's not quite the same car as the original.
They ask Apple (or whatever database apple points them at) to tell if the phone in question is an authorized unlock. If yes, then the phone will accept any SIM card.
Every jailbreak and unlock that I've seen is unpaid and works by circumventing this normal check process.
the jailbreak lets you run code not signed by apple
