I have successfully transferred "Killing Floor" from my brother's laptop to my own via external hard drive. The problem, now that I have all the files, is that I don't know how to launch the game through Steam. All I did was copy files from his Laptop to the hard drive, then from the hard drive t...
Anyway, "Nukes, skeletons, and broken TVs/cars" doesn't have to mean "post apocalyptic future Earth." Especially in the title sequence of a show like Adventure Time.
@Tristan Oh, wait, I'm not even sure if that's the thing I was thinking of anyway (that it's related to the picture; it's still a video worthy of brain bleach)
@murgatroid99 When I watched it the first time, it was dubbed. But like I said, the VA in the dubbed version is good. Probably the best I've seen thus far. They got the guy who did the voice of the Toonami robot to do the main character.
So I'm trying to make a roller coaster, i have powered rails with a block at the end and a button, and when you push the button it makes the carts go. But they leave me behind. I right click on the cart and it pops me into it, but I'm still able to move and walk through the cart, and if i stay st...
@Tristan It actually works if you read the question. Since we have meta tags for smp and redstone for minecraft, and the problem seems specific to smp, although not really redstone. also; the question itself needs work
Once I miss clicked a target location and I had to sit ideal for nearly 10 minutes. It was fun for while to see beautiful landscapes from the birds eye view but I got pissed off after while. Is it possible in WoW (Cata)
I am sure there must some place to store my inventory rather than carrying all the time with me in my bags. I just dont know where it is. Right now I am back to Arathi highlands to finish some pending quests (lol I am now 33)
In Counter Strike, for a quick start, one should buy items by using keyboard shortcuts at the beginning of the game, not clicking to items with mouse.
Are there any keyboard shortcuts to buy items quickly in League of Legends? Or any plugins to achieve the same thing?
@tzenes My biggest problem with your post is actually with this statement:
> users who get a closed question are less likely to stick around and accumulate rep
I think Mark has already pointed this out, but it's enormously misleading to say that because these users have not gained rep after their question has been closed, that somehow the site has a problem with the user experience of getting a question closed
First, you have not considered the many other possible reasons why a user may not have gained rep after his question have been closed. The least you could do is to draw a control group showing the percentage of all people who have asked a question, yet have never gained 200 reps
I mean, the graph can also be used to show that as time goes on, people get more rep. That tells you nothing useful though.
The second graph also has problems. For instance, close rates when the site is new is bound to be lower, because these new users will also happen to be existing SE users, and the same users who decided which questions are off topic for the new site at A51
If we don't take users from other sites as new users (since they're not), I suspect that graph may flatten out somewhat
If you want to prove something like, say, the site rules are not being effectively communicated to new users, a more interesting data to bring out would be the fact that there are still users asking game-rec, and to a smaller degree (since the rule is still relatively new) ITG questions
In dungeon defenders which maps/gameplay modes cause transcendent items to drop? I've seem mythical gear drop on nightmare playthroughs, but so far the only transcendent gear I've seen has been in shops or donated by friendly users.
What's the secret to transcendent drops? Are they just very rar...
I'm totally badass and stealthy, but this gun is an exercise in frustration to use. I don't know if I am doing something wrong...
The gun has no crosshair. This makes it impossible to aim. I end up reloading my save about 10 times because I miss my target, and this is supposed to be 'A silent, l...
I'm fairly new to using redstone, and I'm wondering what's the largest size of "door" that can be opened with a single switch?
I have a huge arena, and I'd ideally like to be able to hit one switch and open a large door to release the monsters. When I say "door", it doesn't necessarily need to b...
In theory, there is no limit on the size of a door. You could expand practically any redstone design to control a larger door.
In practice, you are limited by the number of chunks the game loads into memory at one time. Redstone circuits will not work in unloaded chunks.
