I mean, practically all 20k gets these days is the satisfaction of deleting answers more quickly than reviewers

The actual mod-only tools are different enough from what you get as a regular user that it doesn't matter anyway. And flagging and closing is something you can do far earlier

@MadScientist maybe, but it does factor into the mod score.

it just stood out to me.

when we did the SF/F election, there was a lot of talk about people voting purely by rep score, but I believe all but 1 candidate had >=20k so it wasn't a factor.

this site doesn't really have a whole lot of 20k users

I'm not sure if we still have (or even had) a problem with drive-thru users.

I mean, it's not like a problem or anything, just statistically, being the oldest SE site I would expect there to be more high-rep users than others.

but SF/F has ~60% more

@Yuuki i'm far too lazy to plot the data, but i think the vast majority of site users don't have that much rep. they are impacted by the mods just as much as the heavier site users and should have a say in the election

I've since mellowed out a bit on speculative answers since, sometimes, questions just don't have official answers. It's just that these questions/answers tend to get more upvotes on SF/F than on Arqade.

Goat Simulator questions are where it's at

Arqade gets an insane amount of traffic per question for popular games. I't pretty much raining famous questions badges here. It's also pretty efficient in terms of upvotes per post, but you'll have trouble finding a lot of questions to answer

@MadScientist upvotes per post depends a lot on the game. AAA stuff will most likely get you a lot, indies or lesser known games not nearly as much

The traffic per question is far, far higher than for many other SE sites. There are graduated sites that have fewer "Famous question" badges on the whole site than I have on Arqade alone

@GodEmperorDune some people have proved themselves as mod worthy by their contributions to the site, and I've already placed my vote on those people (my #1 and #2 will pmuch not change, my #3 might change though). @ardaozkal Awesomesauce, that was my plan, so good to know. I figured unless there was something super amazing that the one had that the 360 didn't, I'd go with the 360 and save $20

One thing I liked about the new controller, from that review article: "the Xbox Guide button is out on its own at the top of the controller. No more accidental presses of this slow-to-boot menu button."

which doesn't apply to PC though, but still interesting tidbit about controller redesign
