Morrowind was a much deeper RPG experience, Oblivion went for more action and turned out being lots of eye candy but not as much to keep me interested, it felt plastic and much of the same, and with Skyrim I'm not looking simply for more, bigger and shinier Oblivion.

It's the kind of thing that is only asked if knowledge of the thing exists (and even then it can come out very awkward), but you need to spread the word to get knowledge out there.
I would like to buy lots and lots of Soul Gems. Petties etc.
It's to train Enchanting.
I can't find a reliable source that constantly has a good supply.
(Aside from Collette at the Mages College, and the Wizard in Dragons Reach, I can't find anyone else?)
I like that idea @DavidFullerton. We could still aim at posting larger more text heavy posts, but we would also make those posts about something "cool", like the minecraft skyrim Easter egg. It
This way people always have a reason to check the blog.
@FallenAngelEyes IF we plan to have the blog update more frequently, than I think we need to link into restructuring how the menu buttons are organized.
@Wipqozn there are a ton of links...user, rep, badges, mod, review, blog, chat, meta, faq
and I think the "new" button is really important for sites that have infrequent blog posts...you only click that blog link so many times without seeing new content before you just stop clicking it
@DavidFullerton I need to start running before I even begin to make this joke, but...Let's be honest, the real solution is just to force @RebeccaChernoff to change her name.
@DavidFullerton YEah, I'm just saying the amount of space the "new" button takes up is almost the same length as the "chat" button. If we remove that,it should allow both "chat" and "blog" to be displayed at the same time.

I have Sven as my follower at the moment, and I've given him some Elven Armour (Light) and an Ancient Nord Battleaxe (2h), but I've not idea if these items work for him or not.
Do the followers have stats and skills already? I read on the wiki that Lydia is a good theif, and I know Sven is a bar...
i just finished the quest blood´s honor for Kodlak withmane but ther is an attack on The companions before i can hand in the quest, and now all the companion NPC´s are sitting and mourning all the time and i cant get any new quests or anything
In Skyrim, when working on the Speaking with Silence quest for the Thieves Guild, you end up sedated by a poisoned arrow while Mercer and Karliah discuss the good old times.
Considering vampires have a 100% resistance to poison, would being a vampire in that situation make any difference? Maybe ...
So I've been playing the Sideway demo and I got 4 out of the 5 secrets. There's a certain platform I can't reach, and nearby there's a special platform which I can't stand on, but glows when I jump over it. Here's a screenshot in which I added an arrow indicating the unreachable platform and a ci...
As you may know, Hardline Pro MW3 allows a player to get a point towards their kill streak using two assists. Does this span over deaths?
eg: if I get an assist and then die before getting another assist, does this still count towards my killstreak?
get ur facts straight, Mana.... shit does f**kings change... I used my finger to pinpoint the exact location when i almost got a master chest opened, and i placed it on the exact same spot, and it instantly broke. so ha!.
While playing intense first-person-shooter games often a grenade goes off near my head. The problem, is that I want to maintain my longer hearing while still hear the guy who sneaks up behind me.
Is there software I could use to deafen loud blasts and amplify quiet footsteps?
@ArdaXi It's absolutely playable, I assure you. Much more playable than using the vanilla lowest settings and getting 20 fps when watching at just the scenery without any player, hat, effect or whatever.
So, I'm having a little bit of a dilema over here:
I love the ability to turn into a werewolf and chase people down, but my claws don't seem to do much damage (especially compared to my 2 handed weapon). How can do more damage as a werewolf making my nightly pillages more terrifying?
I realize there is a limit to the number of perks one can get during the course of the game, however, I am not sure if there is a limit to other skills.
If one were to obsessively spend hours trying, is it possible to level up all skills to the limit (and, what is the limit for a skill anyway?)....
Simply put, I don't see any way to gauge how much health an ally has so I know when to heal them. In Oblivion, a health bar showed up when you placed the crosshair on either an enemy or an ally, why would they leave this out?
Sometimes during my rampant taking-of-things, I'll come across a large ledger, and I'll have the option to "forge numbers".
What does this do, and when do I want to do it?
So im wondering since it is possible to have kids in this game there must be a speech option of something pertaining to sex, correct? Well i can't seem to find it, right now all i can ask is for them to make me dinner and ask about the shop...
These days playing Oblivion or Morrowind without mods is kind of outlandish. How does Skyrim compare? Is there a lot of broken stuff that I should wait for the community to fix?
@Brant It's noticeably less buggy than Morroblivion.
But, it's not without it's bugs.
In terms of mechanics: Well, aside from an exploit or two that you can be honorable and not use, they're really pretty fine. Nowhere near Oblivion level broken.
Meh, they're crazy. Better they pour that energy into bizarre video games and incrediby retrograde misogynistic ad campaigns than spray painting people in fur coats.
As part of the quest line The Blessings of Nature I have acquired a specialist weapon by the name of Nettlebane that I am supposed to use to chop through the roots of the Eldergleam tree to obtain some sap.
In typical fashion it turns out there are people inside the tree's sanctuary area, who ma...
I keep running into the problem of my horse rushing in to join me in combat, which helps sometimes, but I often forget to heal him and he dies.
I have tried parking him a ways away, but he still seems to notice I am in battle and rushes over to join.
Can anyone give me some tips they have tried...
SMB creator Edmund McMullen appreciated the efforts made by PETA to popularise his game, but does not agree with their tactics. "How many Peta members does it take to change a lightbulb?.... None, Peta can't change anything."
I've purchased too many games in the past only to find out that they kinda run like crap on my particular setup, or are too buggy/janky to really enjoy. Not happening again.
Actually, I can't remember the last time I pirated a game instead of just buying it...
Hmm, actually, I think it was the GOTY version of Oblivion. (I bought Oblivion when it came out, gave up on it because of the bugs, and came back to it several years later. I didn't really feel like finding my discs so I just downloaded the GOTY version that also had the expansions and DLC.)
