@redrider it is a good book and a good stage production, but the movie I found underwhelming.

The movie has this problem where the director thought it was a good idea to spend half the film in these super close ups where he is basically trying to shove the camera down his actors throats.

There are indeed many close ups

Completely fails to convey the gravity of what is happening, the sweep of history that carries the characters with it.

I mean, a movie like that, with a cast that talented, and source material as good as it is, can only be so bad. But it is not a very good movie because it is not the movie it should have been with a cast that talented and songs and dialogue that good.

I dunno, Russell Crowe singing was pretty bad

I saw Le Mis put on by a local theatre company and it was amazing

So I started looking for the music

@RedRiderX because judging by the Euro and UK pound conversions, the prices are rarely fair compared to USD

if it turns out cheaper then sure, great

but I'm skeptical about it

From what I understand from the whole "use local currency" thing, the conversion is usually better than a conversion the bank or paypal would do

Q: Skyrim exploding bolts

Gaming laptops can die in a fire

but if mobility is important, laptops aren't half as bad

my MSI GT70 cost me 1450$ before tax (in Canada, it was cheaper in the US) and I can still play most games on high at 1080p at decent fps

well, you can't really go much lower than 630m

because the HD4600 is not far behind the 630m
