Q: Can I backup Ironman saves in XCOM 2?

I am not super happy it's answered based on a remark from years ago that's likely out of date, but I accept that it is a thing that was said. I mean the TOS or whatever says that, from my understanding, there is no guarantee, but again, I dunno. We can't really say for sure on this, until Valve closes. Minds can change, etc. But I don't really have all that strong of an opinion which is why I haven't really said much.

Oh. It is something like this: You own a hotel (Steam), people buy (not rent) rooms (games). You go bankrupt, but people keep their rooms, as it is owned by them. If you have $$$$, particularly more $$$$ than the other party, you can do a lot of things.

In a situation where Valve is shutting down Steam, they presumably have low values of $$$$ and thus would be unable to do much if a sufficiently motivated party wanted to do something.
