Q: Where can I find Gaming Experience Questionnaire (GEQ)?

I am currently doing a research about computer games and in my experiment set up I need to asses each players gaming experience via Gaming Experience Questionnaire (GEQ). Is there any place I can obtain a sample GEQ and the scoring criteria ?

Well, there are any number of things that could be going on. It's possible that the asker did in fact search, but used different terms or didn't use google.

A general reaction to any condescension is to utterly dismiss anything that person says.

@djsmiley2k Rather than try to fit the community to your paradigm of how communities should work, try learning the paradigms of the community and fitting in, or, alternatively, deciding that a community is not for you and seeking out one that is.

Questions that are answered by a 10 second google search really... aren't helpful

They (to me) feel as helpful as those pages which exist that are just copies of a mailing list

I think the point here Q&A can still be quality, and professional, on SE. otherwise Yahoo answers is your party

so when you google that issue, you get 30+ pages of the same mailing list appearing, all with exactly the same content.

You understand that you are being passive aggressive, so you know what that looks like, and you are getting feedback from a community that that sort of thing isn't acceptable, thus you can attempt to edit the behaviour to match the mores of the community.

While you may not care what they think of you, you understand that you are using sarcasm and so on, so you can see those traits in your writing and edit them.

The reluctance to offend is also a way of making it more likely that the other person will listen to what you are saying rather than by getting defensive and upset

I think it's the perfect example of yearly releases ruining a series

yearly works great for cod and sports games, but not adventure(?) games

I mean, they're still decent, but the games have only inched forward and are still lacking in polish and the story is just nonsense

@twobugs It's the perfect example of franchising ruining a series. AC was supposed to be a trilogy. 3, no more and no less.

But it made tons of sales so they fired the creative director because he was insistent on it being a trilogy only.

Ubisoft is a massive studio, so they can handle it. They really need to put the game on hold to rework everything tho

Basically I think yearly "works" for CoD because you have like 3 different ongoing series in CoD so it's fine that there are differences between them

Also, not as many people buy CoD for the story as is the case for AC.

With AC its supposed to be one big unified series and that just doesn't work. Features jump in and out, the core gameplay stays the same (with very few improvements, if any)

The only thing that moves is the story, and that moves too much in nonsensical directions

The modern stuff they're seemingly intent to draw out for as long as possible

has anyone tried to make sense out of the AC storyline?

Plus they jump around platforms

So I have no idea what happened plot wise on the mobile and vita versions

Shame really, the story could of been really really good

@twobugs I kinda hope they avoid that for the movie.

It's framed as you're playing a game made by Abstergo and they're trying to censor the Assassins vs Templar thing to make the Assassins evil but they didn't totally succeed ;)

It had some issues but I actually really enjoyed the vita one

@Yuuki Ezio's definitely was, Connor's wasn't. Kenway's was meh.

Connor (and most of AC3) was just handled poorly and really under utilized.

Well Connor is he's a Native American who joins the Assassins but nothing interesting really happens

The most they do with it is he sides with the Assassins cause he's like "my people will be free!" and, well, we know how that turns out

I think a fully 3D AC game set in China could be awesome. They'd probably have to do some actual research and come up with new assets rather than just rehashing all the european stuff, though, so that'll never happen

The PS3 and Vita Wipeout games were great

The best part was if you owned PS3 Wipeout you could download all of that content for free in the Vita version

It's the defintion of a mass shooting as defined by a redditor, where an indicent had four or more gun injuries, which is different than the FBI's requirement of 3 or more persons killed in an incident.
