There are lots of mass shooting incidents that aren't talked about, but if we made the big ones into less of a media event, I think that would probably help. I imagine the infamy those shooters attract inspires at least some of the others.

It's a complex issue though, with no easy solution.

Yeah. Gun control alone (that is, laws prohibiting or restricting the legal sales of guns) is not enough to solve the problem.
