I am running minecraft with forge 1.7.10. I have downloaded mods that say that they are for forge. I drag and drop the mods into the mods folder then run minecraft using the forge profile. When I get to the opening page it doesn't recognize my mod. I have tried putting the mod in, in .jar, .zip, ...
Then I realized that this being a data structures class, maybe you weren't up to hashing and stuffs yet.
I also can't say how much of Java's built-in stuff you're allowed to use (HashMap for instance).

I downloaded SWTOR and made a desktop shortcut. when I click the shortcut, nothing happens at all. I've tried opening from folder, but it's still not working. I tried running as administrator, but it says there is no program for it. I'm going to try making one in the control panel thing.

@Sterno You might want to look at the entire Macventures collection if you want the original versions as its cheaper than buying the 4 games separately.
I think I got the original version with the new one, but I could be wrong. It doesn't matter though... if I manage to play it at all, it'll be the new version.
@spugsley That never works out like you want it to. It's usually "We're not going to tax you on that $500 you spent" rather than "You pay us $500 less in taxes"
I still find it ridiculous that I can save about $1k on taxes a year by putting my money into an FSA, then getting it paid back to me by showing them daycare receipts. It's just a lot of extra work for no reason and that plenty of people probably don't even know how to do
@spugsley Not sure how the US system works, but in general you should only pay the higher tax rate on the income above the bracket division. So more income is always better, even with the higher tax
@spugsley That is rather annoying. This doesn't really happen here in Germany, income taxes are pretty much always deducted by the employer and paid directly
@spugsley @MadScientist is right. Progressive taxes means you can't screw yourself by earning more. If you pay 10% taxes, and get a raise that bumps your income into 1 dollar over the minimum for the 15% bracket, you will pay 10% on everything up to that last dollar, and then another 15 cents.

There are some exceptions where earning more can bounce you out of qualifications for various credits or subsidies, particularly if you are in a state where the government is virulently anti-obamacare, for example.
But if you're worried about your base rate going up, you're probably out of range to have those concerns anyway, unless you're earning so much money that I have no sympathy for your tax woes, which I suspect you are not.

(There is a dead zone between the categories broadly defined as "Qualifies for Medicaid in Red States" and "Qualifies for Medicaid in Blue States', in which the Obamacare subsidies are not properly calculated and health insurance can cost a fortune out of nowhere. Can you confirm if this always spawns this way? Considering the fact that the meth lab spawns randomly and can sometimes not spawn at all, are the meth ingredient spawns set or determined by RNG? — meme scientistyesterday
