@badp Also: The new fullscreen button is gone. The old fullscreen button now performs the function that the old new fullscreen button used to, unless it doesn't, in which case it performs the function of the old fullscreen button.
@3ventic And maintaining cross platform code between two generations of essentially the same thing isn't that hard, especially in the case where you have absolutely fixed hardware in each case
After I started boycotting Ubicrap due to their invasive DRM, my temptation for getting ANY of their games has dropped dramatically, even after they removed it.
@5pike For the most part, I don't even pirate their stuff. Yeah, they might have some games I want to play, but there's so many good games that I don't need to get theirs at all.
@5pike I'm sure. It makes sense for recent games, but it's easy to forget lots of old stuff doesn't and won't support some currently expected stuff
and it's quite apparent when people are like "linux gaming is fine you don't need 98% of the PC's library, it has TF2!!" and when Steam Big Picture assumes all games are going to launch at native resolution (how I wish)
@AshleyNunn Yeah. It was fun attempting to untangle that properly.
Rule of thumb going forward: Called Harvest Moon, not actually Harvest Moon. Not called Harvest Moon, but created by old studio who did make Harvest Moon, is actually Harvest Moon.
Anyway, I was trying to make the Capture Point hazard strips in TF2 like Valve has them. Appeared to have some possible z-indexing issues in my map, but I fixed that... only to have their shadows (and only their shadows) appear in the actual game.
But this was just a sample map to test what TF2 does if you create a multi-round arena map anyway. The answer of which is "play correctly unless one team captures the control point, in which case we forget to reset the status of doors".
I have bought Warhammer 40,000: Carnage for iOS some days ago.
the game itself is awesome, but i just can't find a way to save the progresses of my character.
Any time I close the application, all my progresses are erased, and I'm forced to play all over again, right from the intro.
Since the ga...
@AshleyNunn It's interesting; Tale of Two Towns has fertilizer, too, but it's something you place down, rather than use up on fields. That should make crop growing much less tedious.
If im playing with Bounty Hunter or PA and I have bought a cristalys for example... the damage will be better or worst because its lower than the one of the skills of the hero?
You know, after hearing the PlayStation TV was coming to North America and seeing an article about it, it didn't click with me that this was the Vita TV product until I Googled that to see if E3 announced it for a western release.
You'd think the article I was reading would mention it could play Vita games somewhere in it.
yeah they wanted to distance it from the Vita brand...which I have mixed feelings about. I hope they still market the Vita games because that's a big reason to get it of course
If they support the 2000 yet I'd recommend the nyokko power grip for Vita. I have the vita 1000 model, doubles battery life and makes it a bit easier to grip for some games (but heavier and won't fit in a pocket)
I think I'll wait on the Vita, particularly since the only way you can apparently currently get it around here is $140 more than the PlayStation TV will cost.
@fredley I got locked out of an account the other week because I couldn't remember what my favourite restaurant was at the time that I provided an answer to that question. Probably because I don't even remember providing an answer to that question to begin with.
