@MartinSojka Everything has invisible walls, you have to define boundries somehow (unless all your maps are in caves). The difference is whether you hit them in normal play
@BenBrocka The fun thing is, PS2 doesn't usually have them (unless you count the ground and the flight ceiling as one). If you go out of bounds, you first get a warning and can come back; if you don't, you explode after a while.
The one few that are there tend to catch people off-guard.
@StrixVaria They want to remove those too in some half to one year. The "continents" are already working off a unified coordinate system, we just can't fly between them yet.

@fbueckert I don't think licensed games are inherently bad or artistically inferior or anything (Scott Pilgrim was great, aside from some wonkiness with the levels/difficulty system), but most developers don't give a shit about licensed games because people will buy them anyway. Remember LJN?

@BenBrocka TBQH, neither score is probably fair. The 91 reflects the experience of reviewers playing on a dedicated server. The 3.3 reflects the experience of a launch day rush that is substantially above standard loads and doesn't reflect the games experience going forward.
@BenBrocka I read the Polygon review, which gave the game a 9.5. The review was incredibly short for a game that promises as much depth as SimCity, and failed to address both the always online and small city size problem
@YiJiang'sEvilClone I trust polygon except for the reviews. They seem pretty shit. Super high scores to generic FPS games, mid 7 for BL2. Just seems like yet another shitty review site, they just throw some low numbers in there to balance it out

@BenBrocka Eh, PA had a fairly long "What you should and should not trust about SimCity reviews" editorial that lays out exactly what their testing conditions were. 5 days seems pretty fair tbqh, given the way press timelines work.

Could be worse, you could be playing Turbine Pro, which changes the dropdown area and adds an additional base exit it just outside the Intel room.
Basically, in Turbine Pro, instead of the upper Intel room dropping straight down, you instead exit out onto a thin balcony above the Intel room. Incidentally, your own team's players can also hang out there to defend.

I just released Serana from my service, but she still has not reached Fort Dawnguard even after going on a world tour (tour of all holds including all hold villages and all my houses).
I did burden her with a lot of junk I could not carry. I mean I hit my cap of 400...
@fbueckert but in skyrim vanilla it was never an issue with a follower carrying too much. Oh well even I do not know if this dynamic was added by a DLC or not.
@BenBrocka While there have been some inconsistencies, the previous 5 games they've released in the series were pretty good.
So, to just randomly skip the sixth game and then have CapCom Japan state that they're doing an English version of the (still in production) seventh game...
Haven't played the Ace Attorney games, but Capcom very often has very lazy voice acting and medicore or worse translations (though recently only the voice acting is the problem)

In a new SimCity, sometimes buildings get abandoned, and I wonder if I should destroy and rebuild them, or there is a way to naturally fill them back up. I understand when the building is abandoned due to unchecked fire etc., but sometimes the higher wealth house can get abandoned if I had to cut...

I don't know what it is here - utilities are included for my apartment. I just know based on talking to my mom - late nights and early mornings are cheaper than midday, etc.
@YiJiang'sEvilClone shrugs - it may be close. 100 watts per year is ~ 0.01 watts per hour. According to an online calculator that will heat a 0.18 pound of concrete by 10 degrees (F). But I'm a CS major, not an engineer, so YMMV.
