Q: Searching for an old arcade flying game

i am searching for an old game. You fly an aircraft across a level filled with I think colored platforms. You have to jump from one platform to another to reach the end of the level. I think it was Windows 95 or DOS, and it is driving me crazy.

I used to have a G15. The display was super useful for ventrilo and winamp "now playing" info, but pretty pointless for games.

I'm not so sure I like SteelSeries removal of the Windows key in the SteelSeries 7 keyboard, though.

While it's not used a lot in gaming, the Win key has a lot of keyboard shortcuts attached to it in Win 7.

That's funny... looking at Razer keyboards, the difference between the $80 Black Widow and $130 Black Widow Ultimate is that the more expensive model has backlighting and 1 USB port and audio ports.

Q: The Longest Journey won't run on Windows 7

Upon trying to play The Longest Journey downloaded from GOG.com the intro video isn't shown (I can only hear the sound) and the 3D models during the first scene seem to flicker. I have an NVIDIA graphics card with the latest drivers.

That's an understandable concern.

I personally don't think we should let that stop us, but I wasn't here for game-rec or the previous ITG so I can't really judge on how bad it was.

I just think it would need to be heavily moderated. If users start getting into flame wars, just delete their posts and tell them that if they can't be constructive take it off the site.
