1:00 AM
I wish I could see the responses lol

saem

@Downgoat you can make the spreadsheet public
sharing settings -> advanced -> anyone with link

...

1:01 AM
good luck setting up a filter :P

Wow, TNB has sunk deep.

> haha these are anonymous

I couldn't have imagined this level of insanity
Anyways these were my suggestions if you don't want to slog through that:

> String parseHTML
That's kinda pointless in a DOMless language

atan2 totient deepCopy overlapping slices

1:02 AM
> Number TTS

Also whoever did generators deserves a medal
Generators rock

@quartata I did deepCopy O_O

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ ? I did deepCopy

@quartata arrows dont work it was me

1:03 AM
Did we do both?
@Quill <3

I did deep equality

function*(){}

Oh and I also did re findall

ugh, generators are going to be... interesting to implement to say the least.

1:04 AM
I'm actually fairly convinced that most of these were from spambots and not here
Maybe that's just my innocent thinking

@Downgoat I implemented one for ES5

> String shift N ("asdf" => "dfas")

@quartata I confess I did one

that's nice

> HashList / Object / Map juic avocad in less than thirtee minuit

1:04 AM
@Quill Thanks :)

ಠ_ಠ

@Downgoat I confess I did the avocad one
but I did lots of helpful ones also

I did the one about anonymity

@Maltysen okay

@Quill ooh

1:05 AM
> String A variable that's initialized to the youtube url of Never Gonna Give You Up

> DDoS TNB

@quartata hahahahahaha

@QPaysTaxes bai

@quartata That... might be for the best.

@QPaysTaxes bye!

1:06 AM
@QPaysTaxes /me waves

> Basically just steal all of Mathematica's features
3

@QPaysTaxes working on the tile list? have fun :P
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ This is the real winner

@quartata Yeah, let's DDoS TNB by spamming with with off topic nonsense. ...wait

> Prints a ascii art goat, ala FOG's '🐐'.
I wonder who could have possibly done that one
> gamma functgion

^^ V
> Flip the goat upwards

1:08 AM
Who speaks J here?

@quartata sorry, that was typo
@KennyLau I do sorta

@KennyLau Kinda
Oh, this is the real winner:

o/ two sorta's!

> : HashList.blazeIt()

1:08 AM
(Count the numbers of A, C, T, G in a given string)

@quartata it should be on numbers and only exist on the number 420

Oh, I know this! gimme a sec

@KennyLau regex match it and count the array length

@KennyLau Hmm I remember something for this
@Quill This is J...

setwise intersection with "ATCG", get len? idk J btw

1:10 AM
What is J's include command?

@quartata I don't know J
4/7/2016 17:48:41	String	smallcaps
4/7/2016 17:48:50	String	remove smallcaps
got some conflicting opinions

that was easter

Wait am I just really stupid or does J not have intersection

> String Convert cheddar code into Jelly

> A better name for the language

Well that's a cheesy joke

.-.

> A better name for the language
please suggest something better if you hvae

goat

1:16 AM
@Downgoat Does Cheddar have a function-like datatype?

taken
@Zgarb it has lambdas

@Downgoat seriously

yeah

@Downgoat all functions should be objects like python & js

1:17 AM
@Maltysen functions are really a class so they will be objects

@Downgoat Ok, so I can suggest a method that takes a lambda?

sure
> " please suggest something better if you hvae" name it: javascript but not broken af

@Downgoat u need partial application

ಠ___ಠ
@Maltysen what

@Downgoat if not directly, at least a function like python

1:19 AM
> answer all the pccg challenges in zero bytes

@Quill I made a language that answers almost all sequence challenges in like 3-4 bytes but people didn't like it

what did you name it

Putt

@Downgoat I think I remember seeing that one before

1:20 AM
eww python
@Quill probably not

@Downgoat you should do currying automatically

I remember it.

do your currying automatically

It was an OEIS lookup tool, no?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ it was a golfingl ang before tjat

1:22 AM
dear heavens what happened to your keyboard
2

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

> spam filter
-.-

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ hooves

@Downgoat I have bloody claws and I can tpye jsut phyne

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ og koay

1:25 AM
@Downgoat Suggested.
Hopefully it makes sense.

@Zgarb Is there intersection in J?

@Zgarb thanks for the suggestion!

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ how would a typo result in a phonetically correct but incorrect spelling?

@Maltysen Blame it on the old roots.

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Can't remember offhand...

1:26 AM
Okai

@Downgoat It's something I want to add to Jellyfish eventually.

@Downgoat I got your full name :P

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ My 2D version of J.

:o that sounds epic

1:28 AM
> Make alex evaluate to false always
<_<

How could I handle monadic versions of verbs in parsing?
3+*4 gets parsed as 3 4 * +

?
what is that supposed to do

@Maltysen Downgoat directionalgoat?

Say monadic * is signum. However, I cannot tell the arity of * from the resulting expression.

1:32 AM
@Downgoat it comes up if you go in the report abuse link

are your expression tokens just chars?

3+*4 = 3 + (* 4) = 3 + 1 = 4
@MarsUltor Tokens.

@Maltysen why are you clicking the report abuse link

a=:3+4Parsed as:
NumberToken[3]
VerbToken[+]
VerbToken[*]
NumberToken[4]

NumberToken[3]
NumberToken[4]
VerbToken[*]
VerbToken[+]

if they're objects, add a 'true' flag to the token
VerbToken[*, true]

1:33 AM
When?
When there are two verbs adjacent?

@Downgoat I felt abused (don't worry I didn't actually report you)

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ yes

alright. thanks!

in Cheddar, what happens in the ShuntingYard is: if it's an operator, set unary to true, verb to the verb. In the next iteration, the verb is added, unary is set to false if it's not an operator.
But postfix verbs will be harder to parse

1:36 AM
hi @EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ did you see:

oh okay

i sent 2 in, the jelly one and the goat one.

1:36 AM
make sure you see the spreadsheet too ;)

NumberToken[3]
NumberToken[4]
VerbToken[*] monadic
VerbToken[+] dyadic
\o/

If you have postfix verbs, add all verbs and postfix/prefix/infix to a table and use that
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Shunting Yard?

@MarsUltor Yup!
Only infix verbs here

Execution Stack:  [ CheddarNumberToken { Index: 1, _Tokens: [ 10, 0, '3' ] },
  CheddarNumberToken { Index: 4, _Tokens: [ 10, 0, '4' ] },
  CheddarOperatorToken { Index: 3, _Tokens: [ '*', true ] },
  CheddarOperatorToken { Index: 2, _Tokens: [ '+' ] } ]
But isn't * prefix?

I'm working on my own language :P

1:40 AM
Yeah, I know. But ^^

I wrote a good list comprehension:

@QPaysTaxes o/

[e|(x,t)<-r o,(v,e)<-r t,x+v==a]

1:41 AM
@Geobits ಠ____________________ಠ

(from here)

@Geobits .oO(Why would anyone willingly use pastebin, with their fugly ads, when they can use gist?)

how do I do check oxes in github?\

1:43 AM
@ChrisJester-Young I guess I could, but ad blockers work pretty well, and you don't see them at all for 'raw' links anyway.

"take on me" by a-ha is now one of my favorite songs

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ I assume he meant check foxes.

@Geobits foxes are the best :3

I meant check boxes

Shouldn't that be check boxen?

1:48 AM
^ :3
What should monadic + do?

@Geobits ಠ_ಠ

Maybe sgn? In J/APL, it’s complex conjugate.

> String, Make alex evaluate to false always
ಠ_ಠ

@Downgoat - [ ]

ok, thanks

1:50 AM
@Lynn Yeah, I don't have imaginary number s in mine. And then what would monadic * be?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ pointer :P

Maybe square, assuming * is multiply.

oo nice idea

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ In Jellyfish, I have absolute value for +, signum for * and round for |

1:51 AM
@Geobits Lol re ad blockers. Pastebin has the look and feel of Myspace, when you know we live in the Facebook age. ;-)

@Zgarb That's a nice idea. What's abs in J/APL/etc?

Abs is | in them

@ChrisJester-Young facebook age is passing. Now we live in the Twitter age

@Zgarb Oh, cool!
@Downgoat Twitter is passing. Long live instagram :P

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Instagram is passing. Long live Snapchat...

1:53 AM
@Downgoat Snapchat is being integrated into instagram into twitter into facebook into google docs. Long live google docs.

Google docs is old news. Long live memo widgets.
@ChrisJester-Young Yea, but gist has the look and feel of github :P

@Geobits memo widgets? long live iGoogle.

iGoogle? Long live geocities.
Better yet, just stick with Angelfire.

@Downgoat WTFE. ;-) I almost never use Twitter, but use Facebook every day. :-P

@Geobits how many geobits make up a geocity? :P

1:58 AM
:D :D :D :D

nice!

@Downgoat Depends on the size of the city, now doesn't it? Are we talking a metro area, just the city limits, or what?

thanks :D :D :D :D

@Geobits I think Downgoat was referring to GeoCities. ;-)
which didn't have metro areas or city limits.

@quartata node isn't dumb, it's just meant for server applications, where synchronous stuff is reallybad for performance.

1:59 AM
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ link? I can't find it on your github
