I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because it should be asked directly to Asana. We are not their pre-sales support staff. This site is for programming (code) and programmers tools related questions. — Ken White36 secs ago
I want to understand the protocol involved if we need to encrypt data sent over SMTP. I know EHLO, MAIL, RCPT, but before DATA is sent there has to be some security negotiation...what exactly are those handshakes...?
Opportunistic TLS refers to extensions in plain text communication protocols, which offer a way to upgrade a plain text connection to an encrypted (TLS or SSL) connection instead of using a separate port for encrypted communication. Several protocols use a command named "STARTTLS" for this purpose. It is primarily intended as a countermeasure to passive monitoring.
The STARTTLS command for IMAP and POP3 is defined in RFC 2595, for SMTP in RFC 3207, for XMPP in RFC 6120 and for NNTP in RFC 4642. For IRC, the de facto definition is documented at the InspIRCd Wiki. FTP uses the command "AUTH TLS"...
You are asking to recommend a solution for your case. Recommendations are off-topic. I think it wouldn't even fit on the 'Programmers Stackexchange' tho you could try there! Good luck :-) — DanFromGermany41 secs ago
As the title says I would like an alternative to Google MAPS API that does a similar role. It should be cross-plataform. It must allow to assign specific locations in the map, coordinates, such like in Google maps. Can you help me? Thank you
I just found a way to find jobs that deal with programming, sysadmin in my area. This has gotten me excited because I might actually be able to find a person to job shadow. Thank you craigslist
I agree that it is totally okay if a class has only one method, but recently I have read many blogs saying this is bad OOP and rather procedural coding.
If a class has only one method, it's usually Execute(), or something equivalent. The question you have to ask yourself is, what are you en...
@RobertHarvey I can't upvote but I just wanted to say, that was a cool answer
I just realized I didn't take into account instruction reordering and almost ran into this stackoverflow.com/questions/2005211/… , I used events to signal that the data has changed so I think I'm ok. I expected and designed around atomicity problems and race coditions, but I forgot about instruction reordering and storing values in the CPU cache
strangely enough I only found that question by looking at the "reversal" badge recipients on a whim; I'm a little disappointed that the books I read didn't cover that
has anyone every used tcpdump tool to understand http traffic? I don't get characters like: `E..<^.@.@..z..............Um......r.XT.........` `.1.q........`
@deostroll it looks like it's trying to display non-ASCII characters as text (0x00 gets displayed as '.' in some programs), maybe try saving the capture as a pcap file then opening it in something like wireshark?
It's the same, also I think that has more to do with the OS than the language itself. And your question probably doesn't belong on Stack Overflow, try programmers.stackexchange.com instead. — NiñoScript32 secs ago
