@NathanOsman my RAZR M used to have terrible battery life. With Airplane Mode and WiFi on it's gone down about 40% in 4 days

I haven't used it, so that's standby time, but still better than the 10 hours standby it used to get :/

4 days? The last phone I had that could get a day of standby time looked like this:

And my Note 4 used to have like 3 day standby time, but then the disaster known as Lollipop came around

If you've got multiple users: unless you force a shutdown (sudo , root or by confirming that you want to shutdown other users) you can't shut it down!
