This is one awesome desk... thinking about building it in the camper as attaching to the kitchen counter and occupying where the sofa currently rests sxlkcz.com/your-compact-decision-the-wall-mounted-laptop-desk/…

@hbdgaf to install xfce you only installed xfce4 or you used tasksel?

@Braiam I installed with an Xubuntu iso. I like the goodies package though, so my XFCE is pretty heavy.

mm... I ask because Debian doesn't have a core package

@hbdgaf yeah, no, way too many packages, xfce4 should suffice

last time i used debian or something that required loads of tinkering, i remember installing just the xfce4-wm or similar package and having to add it manually to the user switcher (gdm or whatever)

@NathanOsman BTW, that is my trademark :P

@AnnonomusPenguin ain't nobody here but us penguins

@Braiam yeah, probably will.

@Mateo And then there's @Seth

10:13 PM
walks away and leave the penguins

Now the plan is, two hut, run for the endzone. Make sure to dodge iProducts and Windows. Ready? Break.

@Braiam its a song or saying or something not aimed at current situation

^^ penguin huddle

@hbdgaf If you see something called "Samba" I say avoid it, too

10:15 PM
@AnnonomusPenguin ;) It's interesting for weaning Windows users off of Windows Server... and harvesting user credentials. That's about all though.

Needs a remix to penguins

Call DualCore. I'm sure he'll get right on that...

@hbdgaf hey, could be worse

ZOMG listen to the video and watch that gif at the same time. I'm not kidding. Funnier that way.

Bug in docker. It doesn't escape single quotes in CMD operands. So, CMD ['something'] borks where CMD ["something"] does not. Is that documented anywhere?

now I feel like an ass for fighting with that... time to add it to the blog post.

1 hour later…
@Braiam blah, openbox! ;p

I use xfce over openbox, because I like the eye-candy of compiz.

(I'm mostly KDE or LXDE on a desktop ;p)

I'm not against KDE or LXDE... I'm really just waiting for the lxqt stuff to be finished before I try it again.
