I spent a good chunk of time trying to get Linux and Windows to play nice with recording from a microphone and loopback at the same time.

Audacity won't record from more than one source at the same time.

Ardour insists on exclusive access to the soundcard.

@Hizqeel no - you misunderstood ... upgrade to 16.04.2 and opt-in to the hwe stack to get the goodness of 16.10 ! :) Simply execute : sudo apt update | udo apt-dist-upgrade | sudo reboot | sudo apt-get install --install-recommends xserver-xorg-hwe-16.04 | sudo reboot ! :)

@Hizqeel odd question, probably no one can answer. Thing is, I get messages on a regular base for job offers in python (full time). Since I am a musician, I usually thank them for the effort, but no. One is very persistent however and asks me if I can take a job for even one day per week. Writing scripts here, I feel quite secure, but since I am a total autodidact however, I feel kind of .... nervous... to do the same outside. No clue how my level is in an absolute sense.
