Ever since i tried using my dual monitor setup in gnome, unity stopped automatically turning on vga monitor when i plug it in

I live in London & London is way behind the states & Canada in feminism (I subscribe to Bitch magazine and there is nothing that good here) but I'm from a small town in the east midlands where people would unquestionably look at me gone out if I attempted a gender neutral pronoun, but grammar slackness will certainly pass unremarked... our grammar is very slack here!
