you can liekly just type ubuntu-bug and file it against no specific package
then let triagers go and poke it where it goes
or the kernel. Peopel will know how to triage bugs if they're misfiled, so don't worry too much about making sure they're filed against the right package

I updated my question. May be it enough to help you help me figureing out, how to proceed, so i can finally start createing a stable system by building a system from scratch with this Ubuntu USB stick. Or point ot a flaw in my plan.

@ByteCommander yep me too meanwhile, even if i still keep a win7 installation around in dualboot, but now mainly for gaming, would be sad if i loose 200 out of my 280 steam games

Changed the default kernel in /etc/default/grub and did update-grub. Now every time the system is switched on it opens BIOS settings. Its not showing any boot menu.
