@HeatherBrown It does it you know that Outlook doesn't use IMAP when it can avoid it. It uses its own proprietary protocol. It'll only talk IMAP when it has to (like when it's talking to a third party Linux client)... Which makes IMAP issues very relevant.

so I got it to 10.6 with a retail disk, then 10.6.8 with a update bundle - then to mountaian lion with the update I downloaded form the store a while back where I had to extract it from the update before using it otherwise it would delete it's self - then get an apple id, and add a creditcard to download el capitan...

Just replace "Yosemite" with "El Capitan" in each of the steps as necessary.

She plans to do Ph. D. the next year. I can ensure you that she will use LaTex. Even typing in braille, with a joystick, telepatic sensor or typing with feet.
