This is an empty package that depends on the current "best" version of mysql-server (currently mysql-server-5.5), as determined by the MySQL maintainers.(mysql server)
This package includes the server binaries but doesn't contain all the infrastructure needed to setup system databases.(mysql-server-core)
This is just a friendly warning and not really a problem (as in that something does not work).
If you insert a
ServerName localhost
in either httpd.conf or apache2.conf in /etc/apache2 and restart apache the notice will disappear.

Nothing wrong with eclipse, just overkill for simple scripts. gedit doesn't have the same feel as textmate on osx does. wondering if sublime fills the void
@fossfreedom i already asked him, he says that there are many scripts available on the internet to get that kinda infos on the screen so please make a search.
@Rinzwind I've never actually use any of the two but I've seen someone use. I was impressed but not enough to learn them, bash was enough of a task for me :)

Strange symbol appears on the gnome-terminal's profile preferences window.
Is this a bug? Is that possible to get the symbol out?
