Do you guys think there will be a tech bubble? I mean I see a lot of people going into programming and computer science but I fear it may pop sooner or later.
It's like manual labor. At first a lot of supervision was needed when using people from less developed countries, but now they're pretty much doing it 100% themselves.
I really need a story already. I mean I like the levels so far but I mean what exactly is driving the player? Like looking at Portal you were a test subject and ultimately you wanted to escape and find out why you were there. That was your motivation but my game doesn't have any real motivating factor.
@Sie Ok I've got a story for your game, you're cast in paper world while at your desk trying to write a game story and a magical <recurring item from your game> fell on your head and put you into a coma dream world
Boom the game is about the game needing to be about something
@Sie for extra spice replace "dream trope" with "quantum oddity" and say the magical item was entangled and caused his particles to disappear and reappear in paper universe
you know, you still have to cook even when you use a cookbook

Like the whole thing is like some sort of acid trip? Maybe towards the end of the game we can have the player detox and it turns out you were just playing with gum the whole time.
maybe you could give people a link to my soundcloud so if they liked the chill gentle music they can be horrified by my usual fast paced ghetto-flavored techno
