I actually worked on a tiny Quake Mod. QuakeC has so many issues, which makes me think what in the world Carmack was thinking at the time but the game is fun, irregardless of the language available for mods. I was building it on top of the DarkPlaces engine. Super fun.
The modding community is actually still active on IRC, which is surprising as the player base has decreased considerably.
Alex, although you could be forth-coming in your actions in words, you were a good friend and a decent dev who helped me get my start in the dev community. I owe that to you, and it is a shame that you died before I could fully re-pay you.

It was going to be a week, Rolfl was apt and concise in why he was doing it and then Alex literally asked for him to put the maximum time SE allowed on his suspension.
@Blue I agree its still beating a deadhorse... but its to be expected when someone new comes in. It will probably happen a few more times... maybe with less additional chatter.

I'd play it but I have a serious hate for solitaire. Play a lot of it for like a week when MS released their solitaire pack for RT. I only won like 2 games.
