I made a game, would you like to check it out?
(It's actually in beta)

Link?

Sure :)
bljak.org/~jan/index.html
The friction is bad, many people complained about that.

JS + Canvas
nice

Thanks :)

Friction definitely needs fixing.
You could experiment with it and make it a part of gameplay
Like a cross between Hobo Soccer and Portal
You should also try to make the levels more intuitive.

"Easier?"

Easier, possibly, but it should be clear what you are supposed to do

Hmm, yeah, I guess.

10:34 PM
I spent a few minutes trying to get those cubes on the first level, until I realized I can proceed without them.

My friends told me that as well.
(Also, do you, by any chance, speak Croatian/Serbian/whatever?)

I saw that you are using socket.io. What for?

can any of u guys explain how z-index works for drawing objects on isometric maps
some times objects are infront of objects when they should not be and some one said i need to use z-indexing

Q: What is the Relative Rarity of Blocks Generated in Minecraft?

BrotherJackI was watching a tutorial from last year that was discussing how to create blocks that would be generated with the world. I have lost the link to the video, but the basic issue I'm having here is simple. In the video the presenter showed the ChunkProviderGeneate.java file in which there were mu...

@Badp?

@Dave Do you understand what z-indexes are?

no other than some kinda of way to sort the order of drawing sprites?

You can think of them as layers
Each object with the same z-index is on the same layer, i.e. same level of depth
When rendering graphics
You first render all the objects on the lowest z-index
Then those on the next layer
And so on, until you draw everything
In a sense, z-index represents the priority with which an object is drawn.

i mainly dont get how to create the z index to start with to know the order

Do you have a screenshot where an object is in front of another and shouldn't be?

no ill create one in a bit tho
eating atm

11:40 PM
are you really concerned about different layers (z-index) or do you just need to sort your draw-order by Y (I'm assuming it's called y-index)

well i got for example a building that covers 4 tiles
then after it i draw another object on the same tile as one of the 4 tiles but the building is "on top of it"
even tho i rendered it after the building
