@Stephie: just to make sure I understand correctly, you mean to just pick the leave with the directly adjacent "Stiel" but not damage the "Hauptstiel"?

@Huy this is one single parsley plant. I pick whole leaves down to the central "Herz". If you just pick the leaf at the top - which is ok - you are left with bare sticks, first green, then slowly drying. Parsley has composite leaves (Fiederblätter), so e.g. the whole thingy from the root towards my thumb is one leaf.

Anyone ever tried rhubarb as a savory side dish?

@rumtscho thanks, foot is mostly fine. Today is the last day of the Pentecost break, so it's back to school prep and some gardening. There are a few tomatoes that need to go into the ground and a lot of weeding. The recent rain gave everything a boost...

I was nicely recharged after the vacation, but had to work a ton right after I came back, with people accusing me of being late on multiple fronts

so the recharge burned out after two-three days

yesterday and this morning I was in a contrary phase, playing games instead of doing work just because the week was so exhausting

There are a few sort of circling around since Friday - sometimes just distant lightning or rumbling, sometimes the full show.

@Huy that kind of (harmless) weirdness is common in brand-new cast iron pans. The seasoning gets better with time and use.
