I am looking for an outdoor radio with Ethernet that has >150 Mbps with a range of at least 1000 ft in poor weather conditions. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hi. I have a guitar amp, but when I plug it in, it makes electrical noise. Is this type of question suited here? I assume not, but is there anything on SE where it would be?
@Shalvenay, I've done nothing... I don't know where to start. The forums are full of advice about too much distortion (gain) or noise gates etc. As such, I suspect I'm using the wrong Google search... Let me red the pin 1 problem
I'd hope it's not a problem with the gear as it's all pro. Plus, it only appears to be an issue in my house, not in the studio :s
No, there is only 1 external wire (wire in my control) between amp and cab, and I changed it. I used a cable in the 2 different 8ohm outputs (same issue) and then another cable and tried both outputs... same issue
Sorry to not be clear. This issue has occurred for a while (months). I've only just posted as it only occurs in my home studio. So day 1 in studio, it makes noise. Day 2 in rehearshal then no noise. Day 3 in studio it makes noise. Day 4 in rehearhsal, no noise etc :S
In part because it's not clear to non audio-tech EEs, but also because it doesn't offer a set of steps and test done, which might enable useful help rather than discussion in the dark
Excuse me for interrupting, but I wasn't sure if this would've been the right place to ask, but I've been reading about Gravitational Models and they mention something about "geopotential models of the Earth consisting of spherical harmonic coefficients complete to degree and order 360". Would asking a question about such be on topic here?
"20th degree and order EGM2008 model is used to calculate gravity gradients" This is another example
hm, it seems to be harder than I thought to find a description of what should happen when you mix coppersulfate, sodiumpotassiumtartrate and acetic acid...
